Ms. J. HardieKnocked off a star because the battery flap came loose and I had to stick it down with tape. The construction is flimsy, but it weighs accurately and you can set it to pounds and ounces or kg.

LesleyThese are good scales, although a little larger than I had hoped. I wanted something that would fit on a high end espresso machine to weigh the output from the portafilter. They were to replace a cheap set of small Chinese digital scales which only lasted three months. The Chinese scales went haywire when a small amount of water was dripped on them. Something that might be a normal and regular thing in the life of a set of scales.....?Anyway, these are well sealed with no floating top plate or pan to let water in. They are nicely built and have a long guarantee. They are easy to store, even on it's edge, and intuitive to use. You won't misplace them if you get the red ones!A nice purchase.
