JamesThe scales did not register any weight less than 8 oz and when registered, it was wildly inaccurate, registering around half the actual weight. It would be worth paying a little extra for an electronic device. This device is unusable and not fit for purpose.
SallyHopeless flimsy scale, as the wheel which set it to zero was too loose, if bowl was touched even slightly it jumped off '0' so impossible to place ingredients accurately. Not even worth the cheap price. Bought a much better to replace

L. L. G. EdwardsIs very inaccurate for weights less than 1kg, which is basically everything to do with cooking. Have been testing the weight mesaurement with known weights (eg blocks of cheese, carton of milk etc) and the scales show less than 50% of the actual weight.....has caused several cakes and other dishes to be a a disaster. I'm hoping Amazon or Salter will give me a refund on this item.
