Very good lightweight easy to use

Sadly this product would not power up. Whether the supplied batteries were old, I don't know. Zero attention to detail like this gives a non existent user experience and is a very poor representation of the company - Salter.Refund of money demanded.

I was excited to receive the scales and enjoyed using them, but they quickly drained the batteries, despite me turning the scales off manually. I've been through 6 changes of batteries in 4 months, the batteries are expensive so be aware. And I'm giving up now. New scales for me. Very disappointed.

Needs to be on flat surface - Just a bit too sensitive keeps fluctuating only small amounts with any knocks or vibrations

Just the job

Great product, fair price and does everything you need!

I was looking for a large scale and did not think the measurements given were for the box the scale came in and NOT the scale. When checking reviews I notice the incorrect size had been pointed out years ago so Amazon should have corrected it.

The item is on the heavier side, the rubber feet quickly came off and the buttons are quite stiff. I could have lived with this, but today I when I weighed a 250g packet of ingredient it showed up as 167g .. not just a little inaccurate, checking a few more items I realised its literally off the scales ;) No wonder some baking I've done recently have come out badly.

Good quality and easy to handle

Looks as expected from the photo. Compact size but large enough for a bowl or something to go on. Easy to read. Can be a bit sensitive (either that or slow to respond) so I find I have to press to zero a few times to ensure it is measuring properly, but it does measure fine after that. I'd probably get a different one if I had my time again. I had a glass salter scale previously which had better buttons on it and seemed more sturdy; I preferred that. Easier to clean than I expected though.

Beware these scales eat batteries

Good clear display and a nice thin casing. However be careful how you store it as it is too easy to rest it on the buttons meaning the batteries run out.

These are good scales. My stuff has improved

I am fast becoming frustrated with these. I have had them one year and are becoming slow and definitely not accurate. I don't know why i have out up with them so long but the weight often fluctuates when measuring foods and supplements so cant be sure if my measurements are accurate and has impacted on recipes. Slim and look ok but definitely not accurate or worth paying for - they are useless!

First rate neat product from a company of years of experience in weighing. Very easy to switch on, tare off container. then weigh ingredients for baking. The read out is superbly clear. Easy to wipe off the brush finish stainless steel weighing surface. Takes up minimal space. I commend it ~ I used to sell Swiss Mettler scientific balances!

Have used Salter scales for years. Love the scales - wish they didn't have the stainless steel top.

Arrived with flat batteries.
