After 100 uses you have to buy an anti- scale cartridge, bit if a con, as every other iron I have had, the anti- scale has been built in, and when needed cleaned the iron gave a warning, and all you had to do was put the iron on the iron shaped container and pressed a button and the iron cleaned itself
Maggie pi have just unpacked this iron andfilled it with water, waited a good amount of time for it to reach temperature.when pressing the steam button, their is a very long delay before it spurts out any steam.the most dangerous thing is,when pressing the steam button, it’s also leaking from beneath main unit.the water bottle is sealed in tight.it’s either faulty or it is just plain dangerous.i will definitely be asking for a replacement or my money back !very angry
Yiorgos ChristodoulouWorks okay as an iron but the clips to rest it on the on the base are poor. The steam tube fits vertically into the back of the handle this means it catches on your wrist in use.Storage instructions say wrap the cable round the base but there is nothing there to keep it wrapped, or the cable is the wrong length for that to work as shown in fig B and to fit in the storage plug hole, so had to coil it up using an elastic band. The clip that is supposed to hold the steam tube for storage is useless it just pops out again. On the plus side I don't need to use it very often and it is cheap.
JakitsThe plug cable does not wrap around the base properly. The iron is lightweight but so much so that it does not stand upright on my ironing board so has to be placed face down.It is easy to fill and it is a good ironThere is no handle to carry it once the iron is finished with meaning that the whole unit has to be lifted with your handswhilst the iron is still hot.I am usually as fan of this brand which is why I chose it. I'm not impressed
denise longbottomTakes a good while for steam to come through after pressing trigger. You have to time it just right or the steamcomes out after lifting off clothes.
Amazon CustomerThis was a gift to my son & daughter in Law. They appear to be happy with it.
Mr. J. B. M. BeeIt's too light. An iron needs weight in order to remove creases. The steam output is weak & comes out eventually. I had a Russell Hobbs iron previously, the Steammaster. That had weight & a great shot of steam. So i thought i'd buy Russell Hobbs again. This iron has none of that. They've taken a good product, used cheap materials & this is the result. I've gone back to my spare steam iron which is far better than this. Sorry Russell but you've lost a customer.

kevclarke1878Iron looks good and has some good features on there. But the power of the steam and iron was poor. My one broke so decided on this one but sadly did not live up to what it said. Would pay more money for a better iron and more steam.
Emma64232000Purchased this iron December 18 , only used about 28 times and the steam generator will not work . Purchased Two new filters at a cost of£25.98 as i thought that was the causing the problem , fitted one and it still won’t work. So now I am returning it , think twice about buying this product .
patThe design of the iron as far as storage is concerned is very poor. The iron itself just balances on foursmall hooks on the base unit; there is an ineffectual clip for the large steam cable and the cable attached to the plug has no storage arrangement at all so it has to just dangle. The iron has to cool before it can be balanced on its hooks to be stored. The whole unit has to be carried very carefully because of the iron balancing on the base unit rather than being held in place somehow and the two cables flap about. Extraordinarily poor.As far as the steam ironing function is concerned, it is adequate but not brilliant. Rather a lot of chugging happens before steam appears and when it brings itself into steaming action there is just about adequate steam. Over all notimpressive.

the steam part pops off and breaks after a few uses terrible product
samI am not happy with my iron bought before I went on holiday and didn’t use until I came home now I find the steam will not work
PiperPay a little extra and get a decent one, this product is not very good at all, sticks to clothes and poor steam pressure.
mathew77Very disappointing it’s just like an ordinary steam iron. I wished I had spent more
aloeveeI am not impressed with this iron at all. The steam that’s advertised is just awful my iron with the broken steam button got through the ironing quicker. It didn’t glide & kept sticking. There was no power behind the iron at all which is what I needed & wanted. I will be returning the iron first thing & I will be sticking with my usual Tefal irons from now on.
Mummy123Nothing like the reviews .. slow to heat up, didn’t really get hot enough to iron shirts, more steam came out of the bottom of the base than the iron .. refund requested
Mander ThiaraQuick heat up time but standard performance - might as well buy a decent steam iron
MrsBReally good lightweight iron. Amount of steam is disappointing though and water comes out of the bottom of the iron sometimes
