This one was so disappointing as it did not heat up to nearly the desired temperature so much so that I had to purchase a new, different make to tackle my ironing bundle!!

Russell Hobbs have engineered a 2 mm air gap which allows both the soleplate and heating element to be two different temperatures. The temperature of the soleplate is always 140 degrees Celsius, which is a safe and effective temperature to iron all iron-able fabrics.
