annoying user interface
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

has an eco mode that you seem to have to tell it you want to use after each time you use it. old microwave just did this after you left it for a while. main dial does nothing when you turn it before choosing other options. i think it should allow you to select an amount of time so you just turn the dial and press start. it seems if you want to microwave for 20 seconds you have to press the power button, wait for it to timeout for 1000w to be selected, then you can turn the dial to set the time.

Good, but you can't see inside
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Good quality microwave, unfortunately, as many others have commented. The dark door makes it very hard to see the food cooking inside, which is a big down point. Cooking features are great, but having the ability to see the food cooking is also an important function of a microwave, which you can not do with this model. For this reason I would not recommend it.

Great functions, poor finishing on glass door!
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Works great, great program features and large capacity, let down by manufacturing defect on the glass door, had to get a replacement as the glass door had a small dimple at the top centre of the glass, got replacement to find it has the exact same defect in the same position so put it down to a manufacturing process defect, presumably there all the same! Decided to keep as the microwave works great!! But let down poor cosmetic looks!!

Plenty of space inside oven for dishes etc. I would not buy again purely because the light is not bright enough so you can’t see if the food inside is bubbling over etc which is inconvenient if it wasn’t for that I would buy it again

Can’t give an accurate review..
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

I can’t give an accurate review because mine was faulty. It was 200w more powerful than my old one which was failing, and it didn’t heat things up as well as that. As far as everything else goes - it looks good, has plenty cool features, & comes complete with a nice Pyrex style casserole dish with a plastic steamer thingy. I would have been delighted if it had functioned correctly.

Don’t like it......... at all..
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I don’t like this machine.... the controls are over complicated, I’ve actually had to read the manual (more than once).... and the worst thing is you can’t see through the door....., wish I’d sent it back.....

just a pitty
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

just got it yesterday, and when you close the door on the microwave after one minute I can hear a buzzing noise. usually this is not a good thing. And it is a real shame you cant see anything through the door when you cooking its so dark> stander bulb used in it so a real pain to change but light is very weak. and no access to bulb. Its has ceramic enamel interior which is very dark, i think stainless steel be better maybe, was willing to give it a try, comes with a steeming blow which looks very good and plate warm function which i like, but i had to bring it back and get a different make of microwave as from the noise on standbye and the poor light, it a real pitty as it does look good

Not initiative to use
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Looks nice and works as expected but I haven't found it that initiative to use therefore have been limited so far to using the 30 second timer. Annoying that you can't just turn the dial to the seconds that you need. The 30 second timer starts from the second you press it so it's starting to microwave whilst you are still putting in the time required which is a bit odd. No idea how to use other functions yet and not had time to get the instructions out.

What a shame.
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

In the past 2 weeks I've had 2 of these and returned them both. The first one had a big dent in the top of it, the packaging was fine so this must have happened at the factory. I took it back and got a replacement, only to discover that it had a fault on the digital display which made it impossible to use. That was it for me, I'll choose another make. I can't comment on the features or the ease of use as I never got to use either of them. Argos were great though, very helpful and no hassle.

Seemingly less power then my 800W microwave
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Energy inefficient: We wanted to upgrade from out 800W 23 litre microwave this 1000W 28 litre microwave to speed up cooking time. It takes longer to heat our everyday food and drink like-for like, then it did before. Poor design: Also the very dark front door makes it impossible to see the inside - making it impossible to control my porridge boil-over. Very disappointing.

Does not seem all that powerful
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

I have used 1000w microwaves, and this is not one of the better ones. Looks sleek and nice, and will do a reasonable job, however, its good it was in the sale as I would not feel great about paying full price for it.

Dissappointed
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

This microwave is very poor , it's supposed to be a 1000 watts but is nowhere near as powerful as the sharpe model it was supposed to replace which was 800 w , it doesn't come close to matching the old sharpe model for defrosting and defrost and heat pre cooked meals ,I've wasted my money

Microwave you can't see inside when on
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Food heats very well. In fact all the features seem to function as expected. The one downfall is due to the viewing glass being so dark it is almost impossible to see the cooking while in progress

Poor visibility means it is of little use
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

A very good looking microwave with lots of features and a steamer. It is almost impossible to see what is happening inside when cooking. The visibility is poor. This is why we returned it and bought the Panasonic model instead.
