Great microwave.... took us a while to find the handle down the bottom!! Works really well but very happy you can mute the annoying noise ????

It takes a tall glass ie larger than a Camra approved pint glass..

Absolute rubbish. Bought it. Unpacked it. Makes a rattling sound when turned on as though the motor is loose. Returned as soon as it was bought. Utter waste of time. I think Hughes Direct sell secondhand goods as new.

A really good size microwave, larger than the one I had before, looks nice and it’s pretty easy to use

The size of it - no more catching cooking containers on the sides, and I can get my hands in easily to get things out.. Most of it! Door difficult to open, controls not easy to use, using it on 900 watts seems to cook the containers of microwave meals as well as the contents, would NOT recommenced for an older person! I just don't use all the fancy bits; bought it for the size and value for money.

First it works and it cooks fine so that’s Why it got three stars.
The design and controls and auto programmes are confusing and not user friendly.
It has lots of features the you will be unlikely to use but misses out on some you would.
Example it has a auto cook for risotto with the ingredients being rice and water. But says cook from frozen!? It has an auto cook for cupcakes? Bit doesn’t has autocook for baked potatoes...?
Many things I could do on one button or just enter time and start on this model requires one, two or three extra stages...not the end of the world but why? It’s like the designer just thought cram lots of functions in but don’t ask the consumer how they use it 95% of the time and make that as quick and easy as it can be ...
in summary. Not so bad I’d send it back but would I buy again now having used it? No I wouldn’t.

A direst replacement for a Whirlpool microwave of the same size which was 20+ years old. I believe it is an updated version of the Whirlpool model. Dos what it says on the box, as expected.. The door opens from the bottom. Would have been better to have had a handle on the right hand side, same as the Whirlpool.

Easy to use even the kids can do it

Brilliant microwave, it’s huge which is exactly what I wanted. There are many many presets that I need to get my head around but it’s an excellent microwave.
