Collects condensation, really annoying but I guess for the price and wattage .....not particularly efficient.... 30 years ago 750 watt was strong so should they not be super efficient now???

It’s power is disappointing, noticeably smaller and a grumpy eye sore in the kitchen. The controls are more difficult, I’ve needed to use the manual quite a bit whereas my last one was quite self explanatory. An extra £20 will go a long way to get a better microwave

TraceyIt worked fine for a while, though it was rather tricky to clean and did build up rust in the corners. Unfortunately 18 months after purchase it has started to turn itself on, which is obviously a serious safety hazard, and means we will have to buy a replacement.
Martin SinclairWorks well, is smaller than I thought but can still fit a standard size dinner plate in.Brought this after our previous microwave decided not to heat properly and being digital rather than analogue dial of our old microwave, it's much easier to get 30 seconds etc.... programmed and timed properly, however on this microwave there isn't an option with just a button push to extend the time of the cooking by 30 seconds, others I have had in past would do this.Decent and compact digital microwave.

laurenAvoid like the plague - worst thing about it is under the plate rots even when kept clean - the finish comes away and its an ugly rusty colour - not only that but its really really slow - 700w may as well read 500w. Marty StardustWithin a few months of minimum use the front glass on my microwave became stained that no cleaning products could take it off.. to my discovery it was not a stain it was heat that had gotten between the glass because the sealing on the inside of the door has peeled off letting it in.Wouldn’t expect this to happen as I would have thought they’d design the seal to be protected from melting ... very dissapointed!!

In comparison to any other microwave I have owned, I dont like it. The controls are difficult to use, all times are set in 10s and you cant adjust a time while something is cooking. You need to stop it and restart it with a complete new time.
David R.everything else are OK, but I don't understand why there isn't “+30 seconds" function on it. almost all other types can add extra 30 seconds by pushing a single button. I have to stop/cancel and set a new timer if I want to do that.

Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 medium egg
3 tbsp caster sugar
2 tbsp self-raising flour
4 tbsp mini marshmallows
1 tbsp raisins
2 tbsp. broken rich tea biscuits
Method
1. Add the butter to a large microwavable mug of at least 350ml. Microwave for 10-20 seconds to melt.
2. Add the cocoa powder and stir to combine. Next add the egg and sugar, beating with a fork.
3. Add the flour and beat again until smooth.
4. Stir in most of the marshmallows, raisins and biscuits and sit the remaining on top.
5. Cook on full power for 1 minute 40 seconds. Check that the mixture is cooked. If not, add time and check at 30 second intervals until it is completely cooked through.

1. Using water from a recently boiled kettle, half fill a microwavable mug.
2. Add a pinch of salt and carefully crack the egg into the water.

1. Thoroughly wash and dry the potato.

3. Rub the oil and sea salt into the potato. This helps to crisp up the skin for an oven-style jacket potato.
4. Place on a microwavable plate and cook on full power for 4 minutes.
5. Turn the potato and cook for a further 3-4 minutes, checking the progress at 1 minute intervals.*

250g asparagus

Method
1. Place the potatoes in a microwavable container with the butter. Season and cover with cling film. Cook on full power for 4-5 minutes or until cooked. Keep covered.
2. Meanwhile, place the salmon in a microwavable container with the lemon and dill. Season and cover with cling film. As soon as the potatoes are cooked, cook the salmon on full power for 3 minutes.
