You will have to shine a flashlight in your oven, Its like the blackhole of Calcutter in there!
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

A good flatbed microwave but as another user has noted, the internal LED lighting has now packed up, it started flickering, then went out completely. The operational bleeps often stop working but i found unplugging the oven for a minute and then plugging in again restores them. However, the internal lighting seems gone for good!!!!

Terrible for the price.

Very disappointed with this microwave for the price i paid for it. Wish I stuck with the turn plate one. It takes about 6 minutes to properly reheat a meal on high.

A decent capacity for its size
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Disappointed that the chrome backing to the control panel reflected light and made control names difficult to read. Similarly the mark on the rotating control knob was far too fine to easily see in less that ideal lighting conditions.

Won't take a full slice
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

As others have said, the top of a standard slice is left sticking out of the toaster, so remains untoasted! However, it toasts the rest of the slice quite efficiently and fast.

Absolutely waste of money.
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

This is the worst toaster I’ve ever had, I unpacked it, tried it, packed it back up and returned it for a refund. A toaster that doesn’t fit bread in it! You have to toast the bottom then turn it around and toast the top. It doesn’t fit side ways either. In my mind, when you buy a toaster, it should fit a slice of bread in it! Avoid. Unless you use half loaves, which are half the size of normal bread, for that it would work.

Purchased this thinking that it was a good name and was reliable. Had it 2 weeks (1 week I was on holiday!) and one side of the toaster stopped working. May be better ones out there for the money!

The slots are too short and too shallow

The slots are too short and too shallow to take anything but small slices of bread. We will have to buy another toaster but from a shop where we can look at the product before buying it.

Cable too short for use other than next to sockets
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Colour is nice, toasts really well and evenly so appears great value for money, however the cable is so comically short it is just no use at all. It departs the toaster on the right side, my sockets are on the left and about 20cm up from the toaster. You lose 15cm travelling the cable under the toaster through the clips and it leaves a cable so short you can't plug it in anywhere. I used an extention that got knocked off the shelf and the toaster is so light it flew off the shelf and broke.

Toaster
Reviewed on Argos.co.uk

Nice toaster toaster cooks bread quite nicely and evenly the only downside is you cannot put a Long piece of bread in as it is to small. the only one other negative about it is actually the ad it self it says It has lift and look feature to check your toast without cancelling it!! And that was one of the reasons I bought this toaster BUT it does not have this feature! Other from that it does the job.

As well as an appealing look, this appliance also includes impressive functionality, with 700 watts of microwave power providing quick and convenient cooking in your home. The RHFM2001 from Russell Hobbs has Flatbed technology, this removes the need for a turntable to offer a microwave with more useable space – square plates and casserole dishes, that would not fit in a conventional turntable microwave, to be reheated or defrosted. The flatbed surface is easier to clean than a conventional microwave, so food debris and moisture can be easily wiped away. The diamond cavity structure provides improved microwave distribution by enhancing the reflection of the microwaves inside the cavity. This helps to cook your food more effectively, saving time and energy. Pre-programmed auto cook menus, such as pizza (reheat), fish, and popcorn, allow you to cook all your favourite foods at the push of a button. What’s more, there’s automatic defrost settings meaning all you have to do is input the weight of the food, and the microwave selects the ideal defrost time, saving you time and effort. Moreover, 5 microwave power levels enable tailoring of your cooking experience. Additional features include a handy digital clock and count-down timer, and for added peace of mind, the RHFM2001 comes with a child safety lock option. Avoiding Mishaps

To avoid any microwave mishaps it is recommended to take extra care with the following:

Low moisture foods (eg. cereals, bagels, dried pasta, pulses and chocolate)

- These must be cooked on a low power level for a very short length of time, or preferably not at all.

High sugar content foods (eg. jams, syrups)

- These foods can become easily ‘super-heated’ when cooked in a microwave oven.

Foods containing alcohol

- Foods with an alcohol content must not be cooked in a microwave as they could ignite.

Foods with a membrane or outer skin (eg. fruits, sausages, potatoes)

- Food with a sealed or none porous skin must be pierced to allow pressure and steam to escape
