madanlal chauhanVery disappointed with this product as it comes with a 2 pin continental plug, which means you either have to wait even longer before using it in order to obtain a conversion plug or you have to replace the plug, thus negating the guarantee. I have checked the product specifications and nowhere is this mentioned. This product is manufactured in Germany but presumably Medisana know to which country they are being sold. The item is not cheap - is it too much to ask that it comes ready for use in the country from which it is ordered? If they are not prepared to do this, they should not export their goods.

The quiet, energy-saving ultrasound technology of the Medisana (UHW) air humidifier uses oscillation to convert the water into a fine mist that increases the moisture level of the air in the room in which it is used. This improves the air quality and prevents the mucous membranes of the nose and eyes and the skin from drying out.
The capacity of the device is suitable for a room with a maximum area of 30 square metres. You can adjust the level of humidity to the size of the room using the knob for the mist intensity.
It is particularly effective in bedrooms (especially when central heating is on) to aid a good nights sleep without waking up with a dry nose and throat. Many people have also found some effectiveness is the reduction of snoring whilst using the device overnight.
