Yes, it is lightweight but feels flimsy. For this price I would have expected something more heavy duty. My previous, slightly heavier fan, had lasted for years of nightly use to block out traffic noise and was impervious to interference from the grandchildren. I don't think this one will be. The base was slightly fiddly to put on as there are no instructions and I am not an accustomed DIYer. It took me about 20 mins to figure it out and put it on. I can't test it yet as it came with a two pin plug!! So now I've got to go out and buy an adaptor. So it's turned out even more expensive. My advice would be to think twice before buying this product. I reckon it's really worth about 30 quid. Delivered on time though!
