quiet , easy to fit , cools the room , what more do you want

This fan's optional blades looks very colourful against the white ceiling of my breakfast room. This being British weather, I don't think it will get much use but it is very effective at its two levels of intensity. The remote is an additional expense, so I didn't bother with it; it should have been included in the box! The pull chrome attachments look cheap and lower the quality of the overall look, so I will probably buy replacements. More expense! Overall, very pleased.

It really looks the part. The colours on the blades are great. However it's not really powerful enough for the size of the bedroom. If you have a new build it's probably great, but for a 1920s house with good sized rooms I'd go for something more powerful

I did a lot of research on ceiling fans before I bought this one. Our bedroom is quite small and any larger than 36” wouldn’t have fitted due to cupboard doors and position of light fitting. So I bought this fan and a Westinghouse remote to go with it. On reading the instructions the first line stated that the fan would not work without a twin pole switch! But putting my electrical knowledge to work I soon realised that that was not the case, and after a very fiddly hour assembling the fan, (make sure you have a magnetised screw driver) when it came to fitting it on the ceiling it was really easy! Just plugged in and everything worked fine. The fan and light are permanently switched on and I use the pull cords on the device to activate or deactivate. It is very quiet with just a faint hum from the motor. I have returned the remote control because it really isn’t necessary for my needs, though I can see it would have a use in a larger room. On the whole I am very happy with my purchase and a competant DIY’er will easily get it up and running with no problems.

I would probably like more installation instructions for the remote. Contacted westinghouse for support, they were very good and sorted out my issue. I would recommend buying this fan, and getting the manufacturers remote. It did take a while for the fan to bed in, and quieten down, give it time before passing judgement, setting 1 is very quiet to sleep with.

Absolutely love these fans !... I had two installed by the service provided which was quick and efficient. They are definitely keeping us much cooler !..they look great too .Only downside is the light its self isnt very bright as you can only have a 60w bulb but other than that id highly reccomend .

No remote control, but works perfect. Three settings which has been fantastic in this heat to get a good night sleep. Great value for money.

Beautiful, silent and effective. Had it installed by an electrician. Well worth. Shame it does not fit a Hue E14 bulb - you need to use a golf style E14 bulb

Great fan. Simple to install. I bought 7 and used in all bedrooms as it’s quiet and conservatory, some with extender rod some without. Optionally you can wire light & fan to a 2-gang switch or both together and use the pull cords.

Bright colourful and very powerful.Perfect in any room.

Looks good easy to fit and not as noisy as the one it’s replacing

easy to assemble once you get going, although suggest you put paddles on before you connect and hang it up

Great fan looks great in my boys graffiti room alot bigger than thought great solid nice choice of colours aswell bright vs pastel and white vs beech wood worth the money

Powerfull very quite even on full speed good instructions complete nothing missing was easy to fit on my own at 66yrs of age should have got one years ago kept our bedroom cool left on all night

Decent quality. Reasonably quiet. Could do with a better system for getting it onto the ceiling.

This is fine, it works, and provides good air flow and isnt too noise. However, the instructions say it can be flush mounted (without the down rod), but it can't !!! If you flush mount it the air above the unit simply isn't enough, and the fan cannot provide any down downward air movement. Literally, none. I got a wind speed meter on it , and from 3ft under the fan it was barely registering (maybe 1mph), however aafter adding the down rod this went to around 5mph.So, dont flush mount it.

Lovely fan for our sons rooms. All the different coloured panels means we can adapt it as he gets older! Quite fiddly to put up and had to add extra screws to ceiling to support it as it had a wobble when on, other than that it’s lovely

The wesWestinghouse Ceiling Ftinghouse Turbo Ceiling Fan was a great purchase, easy to install and is very quiet on all 3 speed setting. I would recommend it to anyone.
