Very powerful fan. Cools down the whole house when I place it in a open window.

Great fan this fan is far superior to any plastic fan I have had in the past a little noisy but still great for the amount of air that it kick's put

I bought two of these fans, (as although I already have different fans around the house) for my two fluffy long haired German Shepherds in this current heatwave and they are absolutely brilliant. I had considered buying a cooler (not an air conditioner)which was more expensive than two of these but the output (even on low) is as good, if not better, as a cooler. Well worth the money and a very good investment.

I bought this fan and initially, although a bit noisy, was very effective so accepted that some noise is worth a strong blast of air. However, after 3 days I went to move it, to face another direction, just sliding it across a tiled floor. It fell over, not from a height, but just toppled over and it stopped. I found that one of the blades severely bent and jammed into the enclosing wire cage. I think the metal used for the fan blades must be too flexible which is why with a slight jolt flapped into the casing. It is totally beyond repair so a complete waste of money.

Very large and quite noisy because of the power but works well. Company very helpful.

This is more substantial than your standard desk fan. I bought it to use with my indoor bicycle trainer and it's perfect for this. Other reviewers have commented on the noise, but I haven't found this to be a problem. Still able to hear the TV with the fan at maximum speed.

Might relieve the stress of over heating but replacing it with that of noise. Wasn't for me so returned the product.

bought to keep my bedroom cool at night, it does that with ease on the lowest setting.

Brilliant and powerful only flip side is that it's rather noisy me and my partner use it to cool us during nighttimes, as I say is rather loud but I'm sure something you could get use to hearing the noise and it not being so loud over time

It's a very hot day unbearable.I was worryed about my dogs with this heat. Expescially the pug.Then this arrived a day early.I'm over the moon with it.I would highly recommend it.Came all ready to use.very Powerful looks Good.It's brilliant..Saved the day.

It's a big unit, much larger than I expected. It stands roughly 2 feet tall from the ground and swivels on the frame. It comes ready assembled, you can simply plug it in and start using it. The fan is very powerful indeed even on the lowest setting, and consequently quite noisy with it. ( My kids actually quite enjoyed messing about in front of it, playing movie stars in a hurricane! ) It's very well constructed and I was pleased to see that the gaps in the mesh are very small indeed, while you wouldn't want children playing near it there is very little danger in even the small fingers being able to get inside and been caught by the blades. Obviously the unit doesn't move on it's own, there's no auto-oscillation feature with the unit so it's simply set-and-forget, which means you will need some clearance in front of the unit to ensure the air is circulated without being disrupted. Overall I was very pleased with it.

This large, sturdy fan is very powerful and so circulates the air quickly therefore there is no need to have a rotating function - great because every other standing fan I've owned always seems to gain a squeak! It cools down my living room in minutes and I've yet to have it on above the lowest setting except for a brief test to see how powerful it really can go. On the downside, it is very noisy but I've found it doesn't need to be on constantly owing to how quickly it cools the air in the room. It was also much larger than I realised (my fault rather than the description) so takes up a fair amount of space.

This is a huge fan that arrived in a large well packed box and it was just a matter of remove from box then plug in to get started. It is a stylish and powerful fan which has proved very useful over this last week as the weather has been a bit hotter and stickier. It is constructed in chrome with the stainless steel blades and I think it looks very attractive compared to some other fans I've used - 'industrial chic'! It has 3 settings and the top one is very powerful - we used it in some drama sketches about a weather presenter, at our holiday club, for the wind effects and it produced excellent hair blowing without drowning out the speech.I have used it on a small wooden table in our youth room when it was getting stuffy filled with 20 + people to cool off and it worked well but it is ideally designed to sit on a floor and be tilted. I am now hoping that August proves a better month weather-wise to give it a real test!
