Seller shipping in its box with no adequate cover dint help. Took forever to heat. Water spills out so not really a steam iron. Day two did not heat at all. Not sure if it was damaged in transit or just a poor product
fairydustsprinklerV useful for craft projects. Needs longer cord and a stopper to stop water running out of the entry when stored.
Fluffy PigeonBought this item about 8 months ago to use in sewing room. Worked fine until one day it just refused to heat up. Amazon kindly replaced it but replacement unit started smoking and sparking the first time it was used. I suspect that there's a wiring fault in both units. I'll try the Prym iron next rather than give this a third chance.
GrumpyheadmistressI have to agree with some others here, it poured water over the garment via the steam holes, ruined a shirt with water stains. Hardly worth returning as it'll cost me almost as much as it cost to buy, so will just use as a dry iron. Waste of money in all honesty and should have heeded the reviews warning of this, it would seem that you get a dud now and then, not great from Russell Hobbs! Id expected more.
