Poor quality
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Iron arrived in a good time with a foreign plug but I didn't mind too much because it seemed to work all right after I fitted an adapter. Unfortunately after 3 months of light use it stopped working with sparks and all. Expensive, dangerous and disappointing quality for a Tefal product.

Still waiting for correct plug. It arrived with continental style electrical plug- won't fit uk sockets. One is promised - waiting.

FS4030 Tefal non steam iron
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I do not like it because it has a continental two pin socket, so I cannot use it. Have had to order an adaptor ,which has not arrived.

This is the first time I have ordered an non steam iron I am very pleased with it But It came with a continental plug I was under the impression from the reviews that an adapter would be included it was not so that cost £5.Also the lead was not that long and had difficulty reaching the end of the ironing board another's£2.50 for an extension lead. All though the iron is good the sellers must know they are selling to the UK

At last a decent irom
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I like almost everything about this iron. It's a little bit too light for my taste, but that means my arthritic hands don't get so apinful so quickly. It arrived in double-quick time from Germany with an adapter for UK sockets.

A craft dry iron
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

As most irons available are steam it was a delight to find a dry iron that met my craft needs. Coming with an adaptor plug was most beneficial.

Hard to find a steam less iron nowadays
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

The iron does what it is designed to do - no problems - but there were initial difficulties over delivery fromGermany. However, the supplier reacted promptly to our complaint, and we are very happy with the product. Continental plug is not a problem since an adapter to the British three pin system is included.

The best I could find in a limited market
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I was very pleased that the item arrived way before the stated time but was dismayed to find that it had a European plug. This was not made clear at the point of purchase so I contacted the seller and was informed that there should have been an adapter included in the parcel. When I informed them that there wasn't one in my parcel they offered me a £5 refund so that I could purchase one myself. Dealings with the company were courteous and polite so I have no gripes there, just disappointed that the iron didn't come with a U.K. plug in the first place. The iron is ok but not as good as my Rowenta, which it is replacing, because it is much lighter. I live in a very hard water area and have given up on steam irons because they don't last long. Manufacturers take note: everyone I speak to locally would love to be able to buy a good dry iron but it isn't easy to find one for U.K. use. There's a gap in the market which it would pay someone to fill!

The Tefal FS 4030 Iron.

This ergonomically designed iron is very light and easy to use.It reaches operating temperature in just a few seconds and does indeed glide over the various materials to be smoothed. An excellent product as you would expect from Tefal.
