AJRJGARNERBought for my Mum who finds steam irons too heavy. She has had two of these previously and they’re Not easy to find in stores so was pleased to find this one..
Unfortunately it arrived with 2 pin european plug (bought from Amazon Marketplace seller in UK) which was not stated in the description.
Great little iron, but unable to be used until an adapter had also been purchased which was disappointing.

HereIGoAgainOnMyOwnGood budget iron. Power cable a bit short which restricts usage.
RichBReally liked this iron as I find heavy steam irons hard to use. However very disappointed that after only 10 months it has now stoppedworking and as there are only 2 of us to iron for it hasn't had excessive use.Just hoping it will be covered by a 12 month guarantee.
janet smythI went with this iron due to the positive reviews and having had a range of Phillips products before. I've been very surprised that it's almost completely useless. No matter the length of time or temperature the iron doesn't get even the slightest of creases out of clothes.I would return it but I binned the box before testing it.
David FarrellHad to return it as it was fitted with a two-pin plug with no UK safe adaptor provided. Shame, as these are good little irons! If I could be assured that it would arrive with a UK legal plug, I would order it again. Sadly I doubt this will happen.
jbvery good dry iron. Sole plate sometimes attracts electrostatic charge, making some garments difficult o iron
SosthogenesThe iron is very light I find it doesn't heat up as hot as the other irons. Would I recommend it only to people who can't hold the heavier irons.
LynDoes not get hot enough for heavy trousers etc. Will plod on with it as steam irons although great have a very short life as water and electrics do not mix. For those who do not iron very much they are great but I iron everything (stupidly).!!!!!!
MabPhilips Affinia is a dry iron with DynaGlide soleplate which glides effortlessly on all ironable garments. The soleplate has a slim tip for easy reach into difficult areas. It has a comfortable handle and elevated temperature dial for easy use.
Philips is a Global Ironing Brand with over 75 years expertise in ironing technology and innovation.
The DynaGlide coating on this soleplate is scratch resistant and provides a better glide for a smoother ironing experience.
The slim tip of the soleplate allows you to easily reach the trickiest areas, for example, between buttons, seams and pleats. The button groove speeds up ironing along buttons and seams ensuring fast ironing time.
The texture on the handle of the iron ensures a comfortable and ergonomic grip.
An elevated temperature control makes the iron easy to operate.
The temperature light goes on when the iron is heating up and goes off when the soleplate temperature has reached the set level.
The cord can be wrapped around the heel rest, so that the appliance is easy to store.
