The only disadvantage in my view is that you can't see the water level as the "tank" is blue and not "clear", otherwise a perfectly good steam iron for the money.

I bought this iron on a recommendation from my Which magazine. It's really good. Irons out creases easily, great steam, a good light weight with a 3 meter cord. Love it.
treaclethis a great iron but like all irons you have to watch the cord and when finished wind it round the bottom where its supposed to go otherwise it will get all kinked and knotted other wise its great and for some all irons have that type of flex cord, the service from amazon was as it always is excellent

There is plenty of steam, even on the halfway setting, and the heat control seems to be quite accurate and there is a decent length of flex which can be stored be wrapping around the handle! Also the flex entry moves to make it easy to stand the iron. It does use quite a lot of power and is quite a large iron however.
