Lasted less than a year. It trips the fuses whenever I press the steam button... we live in a soft water area so there is no limescale issues.

It’s heavy and cumbersome. I will look at other makes next time.

Read the reviews, wish I had! Bought 6 months ago. Is now faulty, instead of steam just throws out huge amounts of hot water. Be ok to strip wallpaper but not much use for ironing.

This iron tripped out the ring main after a minute or two of trying to heat up. Tried it in two different areas of the house and it did the same thing! May have been a faulty iron, but returned immediately for a refund. I assume you get what you pay for!

The functioning is okay,but the finishing of the steam generator isn’t up to standard. To be honest

Bought this to replace my old hoover generator which had a steam wand brush. Once again, another fantastic buy. Cuts ironing time in half. For someone who hated ironing, It’s now a breeze.

Ok, I shall start saying that this is my first steam iron so I don't have the chance to compare it with other ones.
I tried it for the first time today, it does what I expected, lot of steam, I have to iron more then once only on "difficult" fabric (like for example I have a thick table runner), otherwise just the first time was effective (today I ironed cotton, wool, jacquard), it doesn't make noise except the obvious click sound when you press for steam (I read reviews on other steam irons and noise seem to be a common problem), the only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that i'm finding the iron heavy (again maybe this is normal, I don't know, anyway it's heavier than my previous traditional iron).
Looking at the average price for this kind of product, I'd say this one is good value for money.

Heads up if you have a cat: when I was ironing my table runner and kept the steam button pressed for several second, my cat looked concerned and decided to leave the room... the continuous steam does sound a bit like hissing, I guess she didn't want to find out if the iron had claws too! Lol

Had the model above this for 7yrs with no problems decided didn't need additional attachment, wrong choice, this iron cannot iron a full basket, i.e. family of 4, I have to continually fill the water tank up, it then has to rest for a good 5 mins for the water to heat up for the steam, its now started to steam out the bottom, so it now going back, don't waste your money

not used it myself but my wife loves it even though it can be a bit noisy.
