This iron was expensive so I was expecting quality performance. I followed instructions for the first use. The iron was extremely heavy (heavier then the catalogue stated) & bulky to hold comfortably. I found the sole plate didn’t glide easily over the fabric & kept creasing the garment even though the correct temperature was selected. I then ironed a cotton shirt on the correct setting for it. Water poured from the sole plate, soaking the shirt and ironing board cover & the sole plate burnt.
LadyDPersonally I don't really like it, cost a lot of money, our old iron was a lot cheaper and I liked that better. Forget the first 3 settings as you don't get steam and the iron does not get hot enough to iron anything. I always have it on the settings where you can have steam and iron everything on those settings. It gets through the water in no time at all so have to keep topping it up. The steam is a bit excessive even on the lowest steam setting. My girlfriend likes the iron though.
FOGGY1974I only had it for a couple of years and stopped working in the middle of ironing. Very disappointed for a Tefal user
EliknBought this back in March and quite early on I started to have issues with it. Whilst I love the iron itself (it glides well, the weight is perfect, it heats up fast, controls are simple), it spits out dirt, constantly. As soon as I turn the steam function on, it literally poops like an incontinent bird all over my clothes. I don't use tap water, I use proper ironing water, and I give it a clean very regularly. I'm hoping it is just a fault with this particular one as I do really love the iron otherwise. I'm having to contact the manufacturer to see if I can get a replacement.
MissVGreat iron, but unlike my previous Tefal iron, the first time I dropped it (yes, I know you shouldn't but these things happen), even though I broke its fall, it started leaking - won't hold water at all = useless!
Carol LanyonNot good at all , water keeps dropping out from the base , will have to return it
Daniele FragariaGood iron but 3 weeks in and it's already spitting out scale. The descaling feature isn't great. Other than that - well its a good iron. Lots of steam - but it is on the heavy side - more so than my old Tefal. So watch out for that.
Kiki2015The Iron is fine. Received in good order and the merchandising is good. but the iron do drop lot of water. Its not just steam you get but loads of water puddle. Because the water is coming out from steam holes, I rated three. Only in se for last two weeks. so not much to add
A. ChandrakumarThis is a great iron but to heavy for a person with a disability. Having rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis it is heavy. It would help if the weights of the irons was put on the details
