The buttons simply stopped working meaning you couldn't use the microwave. It was over £80 and the seller wont accept a return as I no longer have the original packaging and its defective. Frankly under statutory protections I should be entitled to a full refund but this seller on amazon doesn't seem to allow that. Akai wont replace because I didn't register a warranty - this is actually rubbish because goods must be of satisfactory quality - if they aren't I am entitled to a full refund. Dont buy this

This microwave was awful kept cutting power whilst trying to cook anything, have got rid of it

Very disappointed indeed!! Microwave arrived, I cleaned it out and plugged it in, used as instructed and after the very first usage there was a small explosion and sparks!! I touched the microwave and it was that hot you could burn yourself on it! I also found it quite flimsy.Sending back immediately.

This was a little disappointing the steam goes between the glass layers and inables you to see inside the reason I bought this was because my other micros light broke but now I'm in the same situation not very happy with my purchase

Bought this as I liked the look of it, But when on standby it buzzes all the time, the light doesn't work and THE DOOR LEAKS I emailed Akai "customer services" and waited 10 days for a response which still hasn't come, I contacted Amazon who did an immediate refund.I will never buy and Akai product again but give amazon 5 stars.

Set up according to instructions, however microwave started to spark and smell strongly of electrical burning upon first use.

I wouldn't buy it again.The 'quick minute' just nukes food. The other options are frustrating to understand and also to operate.

No manual included! How am I suppose to know how to use this microwave without a manual?! Would like one to be sent out ASAP.

I have used this microwave tonight and it smells like I have cooked loads of cigarettes in it,I have aired the house for 4 hours and the microwave still smells really bad. I only cooked a jacket potato. Would appreciate some feedback on this issue.

I love the design and use so many a day to sterilise the baby bottles and heating food. The dark film of the door is not properly attached so yhe moisture gets in and the digital window gets steamy so I have to keep the door open for a while after every use.

Looks good and is functional, but basic.

It's Fine AND Does THE job wellBut it takes for ages and makes a noise when finshes whish can be very annoying thanks again
