Dislike - No guidance on general defrosting except for specific items which seem rarely relevant. No guidance on roasting potatoes either.Likes - fits the recess space vacated by out last microwave. Several different power ratings although guidance as to which to use for what is needed. Haven't tried grilling things yet such as bacon or pizzas.
Stuart InnesI’ve spent lots of time trying to find a good microwave with grill and eventually bought the Hotpoint one. I have been using it for a week and absolutely love it. The touch screen works perfectly, is very sensitive and quick to use. The door is not too dark and I can clearly see what’s going on inside the microwave. All the program are pretty easy and intuitive to use. One of the feature that made me decide for this microwave is the crisp program. I was using it at my parent house on a similar microwave and was working really well. Hotpoint is one of the few brand which has it.
DanielaThis is a really good product. A wide variety of cooking options, but easy to use. The crisp option is one rarely found on microwaves, but for those of us who don't like microwaved bacon, this crisps to perfection!
Mrs B DavenportMy son uses the microwave more than I do. He is very impressed with the grill option says it actually cooks the pizza as if it was done in the oven even crisps it on top. As with all new microwaves it takes time to get to know it.. Can’t think of any at the moment I did say it takes me a little while to get used to it.
