I bought this washing machine a month ago and I had no problems so far.

After a long debate finally I purchased this high calibre washing machine . I had a full team adjusting pipes and when finally fited in and tried it on realised how noisy turned to be !! Then while I was reading more reviews got disappointed for the amount of money I paid (£1,299) for not being able to deliver what it said it will. Within 2 days got read of it and went back to my ever reliable brand Miele ????

Lets get the good out of the way first, this is a great washer washes cloths really well but a little surprised by the so many 5 star reviews as it does have its issues. The washer unlike others determines how long the cycle is after about 5 to 10 minutes of the cycle, a full cycle can then go from just over an hour to nearly 3 other machines determine this before adding water and as soon as the washer is switched on this one does not. If you set the timer and want it to finish in 6 hours say, come home 6 hours later and the washer will not be finished, ours today still had 2 hours 30 left with a bubble soak wash, every other machine we have used calculates you want to finish at 6 hours. With the magic way it calculates the a cycle, how on earth are you supposed to ever use the time delay right, its impossible. Set it to delay 6 hours want it to be finished then, delay time to 5 hours as you hope it will only cycle at an hour? As said its a great machine but it works in strange ways. Final thought, come on Samsung make a 9kg machine that can actually was 9kg at 39 minutes spend all that money and you have two choices with a 9kg load, split it and put two washes on at 39 minute or wait 3 hours for one wash.

So you buy a 9kg washer with a 39 minute quick wash, sadly you cant use that on the full load. The biggest issue though is put it on a normal wash, reduce the temperature and it will tell you the wash will take just over an hour to complete not bad you think, give it 10 minutes and it will have changed its mind. First wash put it on bubble wash as well, an hour and a half, thinking it was nearly done go back to the machine and it has three hours left! Put it on yesterday and no bubble wash goes from 1 hour and a few minutes down to 53 and then up to 2 and a half hours you simply cannot plan. 39 minute was is great and is the one we have used more often but twice as many loads, why they couldn’t have figured out how to do a full load on a quick wash is beyond me. Seriously considering sending it back within the 100 day guarantee. On a positive note we got it for an excellent price, cash back and price matches. Quite disappointed though.

This seems like worth the investment and only time will tell how good this is. Initial impressions are good

I bought this 6 weeks ago. The first machine which I received was faulty and leaked. Samsung were hugely unhelpful, and despite the machine having been fitted by an engineer refused to accept that there was a fault, or even look it it for a number of weeks. The supplier eventually replaced it, and I have had a working machine for about a month. Whilst I love many of the features; the add in feature is useful and the controls are easy to use, I am so far disappointed by the cleaning. My clothes are coming out grubby, even when only half loaded, using the dirty setting and bubble soak, and I find I am itchy suggesting soap remains. I have never had this issue with previous machines. Hopefully soon I will discover the magic setting that works... :(
