This was a great buy use all the time and my children love warm popcorn
jessica hale brownWorks great as a roaster for green coffee beans. Order two: one for me and another for a friend. Don't try and pop popcorn in it, tough. seriously. This thing is way too enthusiastic.
popcorn sweeperupperExcellent Product!
BernieA1 thank you
Ian HammExactly what I expected it to be
gossamersquareperfect food everytimesometimes a bit burnt but what can you say for a £10 pocorn machine!
Archie Milroy-MasonMy 7yr old son bought this with his pocket money as he loves popcorn. It is easy to set up and get started, however within a minute the popcorn flies out of the expected area very quickly as do some unpopped kernels which are very hot! The instructions say to put a bowl beneath the opening; in reality it's needed in front of it!
Mrs R A DaviesMy boy loves it such a good price to would buy again come quick to just goes every where once starts to pop but kids found that funny
......having read many of the previous reviews I went into battle fully armoured, ready to dodge the flying popcorn, or even worse the flying un-popped corn and was bitterly disappointed. I put the corn in, it whizzed about, the machine spat it out and 99% of it landed in the bowl.Yes, some of it wasn't popped, but hey what's a few bits of unpopped corn between friends, and yes, you had to figure out the angle at which the corn was going to be ejected - but that immediately becomes apparent.Yes, it doesn't do a bucketfull in one fell swoop, but it's easy enough to put more in and really doesn't take long. It's fun, it's clean and fat free, until of course you ladel over the toffee sauce - essential to make any finely popped corn worth eating.Enjoy!
julesETHIS PRODUCT IS VERY GOOD, SIMPLE AND STRAIGHT FORWARD. IT DELIVERS VERY GOOD POPCORNS TOO, WHICH IT IS WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT FROM IT. ONLY THINGS ARE:THAT YOU SHOULD NOT LEAVE THE UN-POPPED CORNS IN IT FOR TOO LONG AS THEY MIGHT POP LATER (BURNT OUT) MIXING & SPOILING THE GOOD ONES. ALSO THE POPPING IS NOT ACCURATE SO PLACE A SUITABLY LARGER BOWL TO CATCH THE FLYING BITS. THAT'S ALL, QUITE BULLET PROOF, ENJOY
Bruno SicomoriI love this. Yes it takes time to cool down but it makes enough for several people at once. The only problem is that the popcorn escapes but I found a work round involving a larger taller bowl and that worked fine. The first time I used it, I did drown my dog in popcorn but hey, you can work around it.For this money you can't expect perfection and I think it is quite a good product.
Kitty Cworks well, good value but is somewhat over enthusiastic. When it starts popping the expoloding kernals push unexploded kernels out of the popper and the power of the fan means it is quite hard to catch the popped ones as they fly out of the top.

In 1988 the Swan Brand was acquired by French manufacturers, Moulinex. Bulpitt and Sons (Swan Brand) Ltd was finally dissolved on 21st May 1989 - approximately 100 years after they were first established. However, Moulinex were also under the same pressure from cheaper imports. The company went bankrupt in 2001 with the Moulinex brand name being acquired by Tefal of France.
