Attractive looking product however the construction is a little flimsy
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

A nice gimmicky product. The construction of the project is in fantastic and the release mechanism to get the popcorn out some more flimsy, occasionally fallen off its cradle which takes some time to put back in. If this is to be used as a one off low-frequency device and would probably work, however I was in a cinema in our house and perhaps gets too much use for the quality of this machine.

The oneConcept Rockkorn Popcorn Maker is a good size and looks quite impressive but it’s a lightweight device that’s easy enough to move around. The clear sides feel a bit flimsy but overall it seems reasonably sturdy, although it’s definitely for home and not commercial use. It has the look of the commercial units though and if you have a home cinema room it would be the perfect accessory. It’s a traditional hot-oil unit, not a hot air type, and inside the clear box is a popcorn kettle that heats and fries the popping corn while simultaneously stirring it so it cooks evenly. The kettle part gets seriously hot in use so obviously you’d have to keep curious children's fingers well away although they’re mesmerised by the process, especially when popped corn starts tumbling out of the kettle and into the tray beneath. There’s no assembly to do when you unpack it, everything is pretty much ready to go, but be aware that the plug is an UK adaptor fitted over a two-pin European plug, so it’s a bit clunky and needs a bit more clearance than a standard UK plug would. The kettle is permanently wired into the main unit with a heat-protected cable which is just long enough to allow the kettle to be held outside of the main unit for cleaning. There’s a little heatproof handle used to tip the kettle forward and empty out any popcorn left inside into the tray below. The inside of the kettle is non-stick and there’s a simple wire stirrer that keeps the popping corn moving, powered by a motor in the top of the main unit. There’s also a small lightbulb in the top of the unit which adds a bit of atmosphere to the whole process. To make a batch of popcorn you first allow the kettle to heat up for a couple of minutes and then switch off, add one scoop of oil and one scoop of popping corn (the two measuring scoops are supplied) and switch it back on. Within a few minutes things start popping and soon you get a quick avalanche of freshly popped popcorn overflowing from the kettle and into the tray. The two metal flaps on top of the ket

Kids love it!

Tried a hot air popper before, it was rubbish. Although more expensive this works great, every time. The kids love it!

Popcorn machine in retro 1950s design with removable stainless steel bowl and built-in agitator.

Bring the cinema feeling home.

As personal televisions are getting bigger with higher resolutions, as compact screens and projectors are becoming more affordable,
you can truly bring the cinema experience into your home. Don't waste your time with dreary microwave popcorn - the OneConcept
Rockkorn Popcorn Maker is the stylish and tasty solution to your home cinema needs!

For a cozy TV or film night with friends and family, the popper produces delicious fresh popcorn in your desired flavour - sweet or
salty. Every evening together becomes a special experience - childhood memories of staring transfixed in front of old popcorn machines
at the cinema or county fair are vividly brought back to life. Via the side vents, the comforting and irresistible aroma of fresh popcorn
spreads throughout the room after just a few moments, making every mouth water in eager anticipation.

After just a short heating time, just add corn and a few drops of oil to the stainless steel pot of the OneConcept Rockkorn - the supplied
measuring spoon ensures precision. To complete your taste experience, directly add either sugar or salt. The built-in agitator guarantees
that the corn kernels evenly come into contact with the heating plate so that no corn sticks to the bottom and burns.

In just a few moments, the boiler of the popper starts to work and the first caramelised or salted pieces of popcorn jump out of the tank,
ready for immediate consumption. In the event that a few splashes of hot grease should come out of the popcorn kettle, the power cable
is specially isolated inside the machine to protect against corrosion. To facilitate cleanup, the pot may be easily removed from the suspension.

In terms of design, the OneConcept popcorn machine stands out with a retro 1950s style.
