Beautiful camera. Don't look at Amazon reviews to buy this sort of stuff though - they are rigged. Companies pay people to lie. Look on Youtube and blogs to see if this camera is good for you. I am certainly happy.
Amazon CustomerIncredibly this camera doesn't allow you to set the aspect ratio when recording video footage. I have no idea why, but other versions of Canon camera have the option in the manual settings to change the aspect ratio, but not with this camera. Very disappointed for a £500 camera to not even have the most basic of settings
Nick SmithThis is my first ever "pro" camera and I love it. The camera has articualted screen for vloggers or filmographers. The quality is what I am not sure, but this could be due to me being new to DSLR and don't know what it'a cabeable of? It'a a great "cheap/entry level" DSLR for begginers also this is a better upgrade than the EOS 200D as it has more features than it, but it's up to you personally I choose this due to it being newer and is a successor of the 200D.The camera has built in help thing that tells you what certain things does which was really handy and a great tool for a beginner. The use of WIFI and Bluetooth is amazing as I can connect to my phone via a software and can take pictures/videos with my phone and is the useability is amazing. In the box you get a strap with the camera which was great and the camera is very lightweight. There are pleanty of ports on it like the mic/hdmi port to name a few which is a great addition.Overall this is the best entry level camera to have on the market and this current time!
Critique ClipBought this as an upgrade to my 10 year old 1000D.She was a reliable beast who has taken photos of some of my most precious moments, so making a swap was going to be hard. My 250 D however is a lot of camera for a brilliant price. The shots I have taken so far have been beautiful.Very impressed.
JonThis cameras quality is amazing for the price and simple to use and adjust all settings to your liking, so as a DSLR camera used for photography and video recording it's a must buy! However, the predecessor of this model the 200D/SL2 had a feature of being able to disable the 30-minute auto power off that most cameras have. Any streamer who is in the professional space knows that having a DSLR rather than your standard webcam is a very nice addition and adds to your streams overall quality significantly. The 250D has the same setting, however at 30 minutes of standby the camera asks for a button to be pressed to resume shooting mode, which makes this feature cancel itself out so if you want to use this for the purpose of a streaming camera, I suggest downloading the app and switching a setting (I chose daylight savings) every 25 minutes or so to stop this screen appearing to your viewers. It's a slight disappointment as the 200D did not do this at all but still it is a fantastic camera for the price and would still recommend it.
SwavMan. Best camera I've ever had
tomasI bought it for my daughter as shes into wildlife photography it came well packaged all the bits included and shes getting on great with it.
Brian Adam Meakerhighly recommend this camera, I am new to using dslr cameras and I am very happy with the product so far.
Jake DennePurchased this for my son as a 'starter' camera for both photography and vlogging. On paper this was one of the most suitable offering the right level of features and value for money. It has not disappointed, proving intuitive to use with excellent image quality.
JeremyDI’ve been using it for a month now and I’m really happy with this purchase. Image quality is great and it’s easy to use and comfortable to hold. The only negative point is that the app for using it along with the phone is buggy, but I hope it get improved in the future.

Great camera apart from,it will only take a canon flash or ring flash at hundreds of pounds each, as they have removed the hot shoe that allows you to use third party flashes,so you have to pay canon's prices, no doubt some Chinese firm will start producing an adapter for it very shortly so you can use the flashes you have already bought for your last camera.
ian whittinghamEarly days yet, still learning how to use the camera. Already know I need at least one more lens to the stock it came with. Some excellent images so far.
grumps147I was going to buy myself a new camera case on Amazon Prime day. Well, I did. What I didn't expect was to get a new camera with it! I had been eyeing the EOS 250D for a while and debating whether to upgrade my ancient EOS 400D. I couldn't resist the offer, so ended up buying the camera and case together. It contains far more features than I'll probably ever need or use and I'm only beginning to explore its capabilities. However, so far I'm happy with its performance. The 493 page user manual is a bit daunting though!I am very impressed with the Image Stabilization on the supplied lens. Hand held shots come out pretty sharp with anything up to half second exposures.I had a few niggles trying to download the software from the Canon web site and their site did not seem to be correctly set up for this model. Overall I would recommend it.

this is very good for beginner level of DLSR camera.
AmitDasIt's an awesome camera. Great price for A DSLR especially a Canon. Could do with a spare battery, and you need a memory card, get a BIG one as it uses a lot of space.
JayBought to replace a 450D, to add video, higher res, wifi and bluetooth download etc. I would have considered mirrorless (for silent work during stage shows), but I have several EF-S lenses which this is still fully compatible with.Seems to work well, with the auto mode making intelligent choices and a help system for photographers trading up to their first DSLR.From other professional reviews I gather its 4K mode is limited, but the HD mode works really well.
