Susan NapierAll we wanted in a new washing machine was a simple one easy to manage but if you want all singing and dancing features, the choice is there but for our old heads, we find this machine to be easy to use. We had a problem with water retaining in the softener dispenser section after every wash and as this machine is only 3 weeks old we knew it couldn't be clogged up. We went onto Hotpointservice.co.uk and sorted through the many problems that can occur and found exactly why the water and softener retains in the dispenser. Apparently the front of the machine has to be a little bit higher than that back, thus allows the water to drain away. Going to adjust the feet and see if this corrects the problem next wash. Oh, and by the way, go on Hotpoint Utube and you can even find out how to open the drawer to clean. Just couldn't figure it out until I watched the video. Can't fault this machine whatsoever and would highly recommend it especially for such a reasonable price.
