This item has failed in less than a year, there does not appear to be a link via Amazon to seek help.

Too noisy for a bedroom

First item was faulty had to have a replacement sent straight out. Replacement only lasted 4 months and has already stopped working

Packaging was not good , dehumidifier is compact but noisy

Does an adequate job. Still going after two years of very heavy use. Doesn't extract as much as a dessicant model.

Purchased from Amazon based on Amazon reviews to save some money as I already have Mitsubishi MJ-E14CG-E1 Dehumidifier in another room (that costs 300 pounds). Had to return De Longhi as I received the item that appeared to be refurbished one. Not securely packaged and with dirt inside the machine (in the tank compartment). Also had unpleasant compressor noise compare to Mitsubishi and smell of cheap plastic coming from its airways. Chinese thing. Mitsubishi that is made in Japan did not smell such badly even being a new one. So I returned it back to Amazon and purchased another Mitsubishi MJ-E14CG-E1 Dehumidifier. So if you want reliable machine that is not producing much noise and any smell get a Mitsubishi. It is probably the quietest one. We have one in master bedroom and another one in kids bedroom and they work on auto day and night and adults and kids alike sleep fine with them and do not notice them. If someone was happy with De Longhi or any other Dehumidifier it is only because they did not have Mitsubishi.
