This appliance broke when it was just out of warranty. It was showing F0 and when I finally got someone to speak to (which involved calling a number abroad) I was told that this sign means it is leaking the coolant. I have made enquiries locally to get it repaired but it is going to cost more than it is worth. So a definite zero. Be aware that Trotec does not have a helpline you can contact if your product fails. I took care of the appliance - it hasn't been moved since I got it. It simply stopped working.

It does well at reducing humidity, is relatively quiet compared to others I've had and has fairly low energy consumption. However, as some others have commented, it tends to dribble water on the floor when emptying the water tank (sometimes a fair bit of water dribbles out, sometimes just a little and occasionally it doesn't dribble at all). It's not possible to figure out why this is variable. Sometimes the dribble happens 5 seconds or so after removing the water tank; sometimes it's immediate. It's in the kitchen on a washable floor and I've just accepted that wiping up the spill is part of emptying it but this would be hopeless if it was on a different surface. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars.
