Really happy with this purchase. Easy to use and very good quality. Only slight issue, is that if it's left on for several hours, it does generate a bit of heat, so not ideal to be left on too long in the current hot weather etc (as it heats our small flat up), but I expect this is unavoidable and I would still recommend.

I've had a DeLonghi DEM10 for years. I simply wanted to buy another one but it seems that model has been phased out. The closest to it appeared to be DX10 so bought this instead. Apart from the fact that it's a much nicer colour (got the navy blue one!) it's actually an improvement in several ways - the control knob has a very satisfying feel in operation (you need to try it to know what I mean!) The indicator lights are better. The air input has an accessible filter that you can unclip to access and clean and just generally it looks sleeker. Have used it for several weeks now and it's doing a sterling job which is all you can hope for in a dehumidifier. We use it because we have to dry clothes in doors and when it is used it prevents condensation build up on the windows in the cold mornings. So clearly works very well indeed.

Worked but I had to return mine as it was too big - I guess I got too greedy thinking I should get one with higher capacity. The wire was also too short to reach my bathroom which I mainly wanted it for. And also wanted it for reducing wet clothes my half which it didn't really do. I am still on the hunt for a perfect one from this company. The team were so nice and helpful in getting me return it

To start with, perfect. After a month or two developed a vibrating noise, which made it a bit annoying to be in the same room with, but that wasn't a problem with us. Two and a bit years down the line the unit has failed (the guarantee is for two years).While it worked it was fine; but not enough lifespan for something at this price. Will not be buying again.

Developed a fault where the indicator lights stopped working on two of the drying settings. Eventually failed completely on 15th October, almost 6 months after the "Support Window" closed and leaked, destroying £1000 carpet. This is why you should never write product reviews immediately, but wait a while. You should avoid this product as even with good maintenance, it will cause as much destruction as the damp problem you need it to solve.

Smart styling. Quietly efficient.........New Year's Day 2020 failed after just 5 months. Returned for refund - very disappointed.

I already have a DeLonghi dehumidifier which is fine but this one became very very noIsy and then stopped working. I only got this one on 17.05.19 I have returned this dehumidifier.

- Other reviews mention it starts making loud noise at some point. Mine worked fine for the first 2 weeks. After this it started to get noisier and noisier, so it's going back to Amazon. Even before the weird noise started though, it was a bit too loud for a bedroom.
- Water extraction was good, however in a house of 38sqm it couldn't take humidity under 49% (measured independently).
- Lack of features such as setting a desirable humidity percentage %, information display, fan control etc, that are present in other brands' models at this price.
- Bad energy management: the compressor stops working once the desired humidity level has been reached, however the fan keeps working 24/7, spending electricity and making noise.

Sleek design that doesn't look out of place in the house.The person I bought this for suffers badly from asthma in the damp UK weather. This has really helped with that and allows her to hang her laundry inside to dry. I would definately buy again.

I can't really say anything except it came with detached fan rotor so I had to send it back - no problems with that

Easy to use and very efficient in drying clothes. Quieter than my previous dehumidifier which was a DM10.

My DeLonghi Dem10 broke down after 6 years of constant use so I replaced it with this, which is just as efficient and easy to use. Perfect for my small flat and dries a full rack of clothes in less than 24hrs. Excellent value for money, quick delivery and fantastic product. Highly recommended

Liked it. Doing great. Low noise when you compare with others. It would have been ideal if there was an indicator for humidity level.

Our flat was flooded due to the neighbors’ bad garden plumbing which left it perpetually damp. On the first day of operation it sucked 2 litres of water from the air in under 24 hours. We run it constantly and after 2 months it’s still as efficient. I would recommend emptying the collection unit as soon as it’s full to stop algae from building up... and the reclaimed water can be used for houseplants.

Product arrived quickly but simply wouldn't suck up any humidity. Placed it next to a steamy shower and still didn't get a drop in the tank! Amazon advised it may be a faulty batch as now out of stock. Dissapointing.

worked for allmost 3 months.....when I asked for help,I am being ignored......just wanted some help....the pause light and the one beside it are going on and off....and the dehumidifier stopped working after 3 months or less..
