I bought this for my mother on 14 March 2016. It arrived on time, well packed, and with very clear instructions. The unit is simple to put together and fill with water (although I did this over a sink, just in case), and I later added a small amount of menthol which helped to make the room smell lovely. The silver cartridge needs to be soaked overnight to absorb enough water. The controls just need a light touch to switch them on/ off. It can produce water vapour or steam, which is useful; and also has a timing function - but I wouldn't recommend leaving it on overnight. We use it in all the rooms, particularly her bedroom and sitting room. The latter is a large u-shaped room with high ceilings and the unit works just as well in this big space as in the smaller space in her bedroom. Having tried several other, smaller/ cheaper humidifiers, with little success, this was worth the extra money. I would happily recommend it to others.

Fantastic machine.I suffer from the heat, and sleeping has always been a problem for me as I always get too hot. I have tried everything, but all to no avail.Thus, I decided to invest in a serious air conditioning unit installed in my bedroom which has been great thus far. The only problem I found was that I was waking occasionally with a very sore throat and a raw chest. A bit of quick research on the net and I found this is a common problem if you do not invest in a good humidifier - just like stupid me!This item could not be easier to use and works a treat. All you do is set your comfort level and the machine will keep the humidity just where it should be.Not cheap by any means, but there again, one usually gets what one pays for.My particular purchase was a black colour rather than the white version.Highest recommendation.

I have used many different humidifiers over the years, all of them inevitably ending up in the recycling bin sooner or later. This one is for keeps. They have thought of everything, including the way for it not to accumulate salts, which damage the equipment. Its functionality and design are flawless.
