In 40 years I have had two Zanussi washing machine and this will be my third. Each one has lasted about 15 years I cannot fault the reliability, and quality, even when I had two children at home and the machine was on most days it just kept going. The only thing that failed this time was the bearings. Even thing else was working perfectly and I was a little reluctant to buy a new one but I could not get it fixed for a reasonable price.

This is brilliant it automatically adjusts washing time to suit 1/2 load also 45min short 40 deg program

I loved my previous Zanussi washing machine and tried to get the exact same model when it eventually stopped working but it was no longer available. This was the closest that I could get but it has a computerised panel rather than a switch that you swivel round. It also has an annoying bleep at the end of the cycle which lasts for several minutes and seems impossible to turn off. On the upside, it has a much bigger drum than my last Zanussi, allowing me to wash two King Size duvet covers, two fitted sheets and two pillows in a single wash cycle. It can also launder a duvet though I haven't put this to the test yet!
