Check underneath the screen protective film for any cracks
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Unfortunately I have had to send the phone back as there was a crack on the top right corner of the phone. The phone was sealed so it was a manufacturing error. Otherwise it was looking okay, just the menu display seems very simple.

Great to start, issues after a few months
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Front camera unable to focus after 4 months, random restarts, delayed messages and email delivery and battery takes a full day to charge after 8 monthsI really liked this phone when I first got it. It does everything I needed and being shock and waterproof its good for a clumsy person. I dropped it on concrete and into water on many occasions and it was fine.Unfortunately, the camera wouldn't focus after 4 months which was a hardware issue.Cubot customer service was good but they needed me to send the phone to China for a repair!!The delayed messages are not great at all and random restarts and shut downs when there is battery life are also very frustrating.Phone is now on the useless phone pile.

Glitchy spazo screen
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Processor is slow n glitchy when you have a game with multiple things going on or a hd movie it's either that or the screen can't cope, For eg it can't cope with my live CCTV pictures it has a screen blocky spaz. Also seems to have trouble ringing out on the mobile network always seems to be down a few signal bars to previous phones on same network and areas, haven't checked it's toughness yet that remains to be seen tbh with a glass screen, also the speaker is on the back so it's quiet until you flip it over then you can't see the screen? Fingerprint thing works 1/10 it's quicker putting in the pin? The battery life seems ok although you can't do much on it so the battery will last, It's a cheap phone though kinda ok for work you get what you pay for and you ain't paid much!

Mircophone not working and clicking
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

I very excited to get a new phone - transfer everything over from old phone and look to working better then my old phone and could use the apps particularly for work. The only big problem the microphone did not work - I could not hear person when some rang me and they could not hear me when I rang them plus there was clicking when recording videos and you here it getting louder and louder and this did happen on my old phone. So over all the phone has a poor performance which is shame as the views are brilliant and star rating 4 1/2 out 5 which why I brought it!

Difficult to access apps and settings
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Disappointed in this phone, very poor documentation, two lines per instruction with no clear advice. Could not add the widgets to home screen that I wanted to, so to access my apps I had to keep going through Google Play to access them, could not find settings tab.. unable to access files on phone on my pc, spent 30 mins with support and still could not get "in" so returned and purchased another Samsung. Phone itself is good, strong and nice camera if you get to access the photos! Fingerprint reader kept locking my phone for a period of time as my print was "unrecognized" Just too fiddly for me.

Charging Problems
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

This phone was purchased to replace a Cubit Max which was ruined due to water ingress. This rugged model seemed an obvious replacement but from the start I was mildly alarmed by the high temperature of both the phone and charger produced during the charging process.Subsequently charging has become an issue. After about six months charging became difficult, firstly what looked like an intermittent connection. After purchasing a new charger lead (USB C) things improved but still an intermittent connection became more of an issue. As I write this review charging has become a real problem. The phone is very very slow to charge and this is only possible with the phone Dr powered.A replacement phone seems to be inevitable, this is not just unsatisfactory but extremely frustrating as without a phone! Long story :-(

Great when it works
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Loved the phone when I first got it but started experiencing random restarts and notifications not coming through and then coming through in bulk. Also had problems with the screen going blank during phone calls with no way to follow menus or hang up. The sellers refunded the phone so I could buy a replacement but after a couple of months the same happened. Real shame because when it works it's a great phone and the first issue I've ever had with cubot phones

Disappointing and dissatisfied. Nothing seems to be good.
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

It's not what I expected it to be. Rugged but not as strong. I use it for delivering and after only 20 days of everyday use, it looks like 2 years old. The materials are not great obviously. I'm also not impressed with the battery life. It's nothing to deal with 2-3 days. With location, navigation, 4G on and calls, it lasts about 4-5 hours which is far away from what I need it for (At least 8-10 hours). The biggest issue is the screen, it gets scratched so easily and now, only 20 days after the purchase looks horrible. It hasn't been dropped or anything. Maybe it's good for an everyday budget phone, but not for heavy work use. It's a bit of waste of money though, but that's why it's so cheap. Maybe it's just a defective item or IDK, from my experience, it's defo not what they say it is.

NFC
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Overall I like this phone. I do have a problem with NFC. It is important to me as I am diabetic and I use NFC to scan a glucose sensor on my arm. Whatever I do I cannot get it to work so I am still having to carry my old Nokia phone simply to use as an NFC scanner, Not Ideal. In addition the the face recognition is a bit hit and miss.

Decay proof
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

As you can see in attached picture I have got brand new CUBOT. I have lost the power on/off button during I have moved the mobile from one room to other. Next day I have realised there is no button. The question is how the mobile can survive any shock as they had promised. The fingerprint feature, battery life doesn't matter, when you cannot turn on the mobile at all.

Hangs up too often
Reviewed on Amazon.co.uk

Solid phone, good design and speed. Somewhat larger than expected. Some apps hang up practically every day; and about every second day it freezes completely.A hard reset is required which could damage the OS, in the worst case rendering the phone useless. The battery is on the lower end. I get a bit more than a day out of it.The fingerprint reader is useful but needs to be kept dry in bad weather to work.
