Bought this phone for my mum at Christmas and she loves it ideal for her

This must be the third phone I've bought for my parents aged 90, and this the first one that they are comfortable using ! The flip lid is great as it does away with the need to lock the keyboard. The buttons are clear and responsive. The menu system is simple and intuitive. Great value for money.

My wife finds her new DORO easy to use and the battery life is terrific. She uses it only for calls and texts and occasional photos. Ideal for the older mobile phone user.

Once it's set up it's a good, easy to use phone, but the assistance button is a big let down. The button is far too sensitive for elderly, arthritic fingers thus resulting in false alarms. It activates the emergency text/call sequence in far less than the 3 second hold stated in the instructions and whilst it supposedly gives you 5 seconds to cancel the sequence I couldn't do it. I'm happy with the phone, but I got my daughter to deactivate the assistance button.
