I have purchased it in July 2019. The phone does not turning on after last system actualisation (21/05/2020). Screen is black, occasionally Sony word appear for a few seconds than disappear. System is not booting. I've tried everything. Battery is in good condition and charged 50%. Hard drive about 50%. Phone has been working well until the last update. Suddenly it turned off by itself. Update by update the performance was going down. I've noticed poorer response of the finger print scanner comparably to the beginning of usage. Battery is still good. I'm very disappointed with this system failure.

A great product! Meets all my expectations! Especially if the Phone shall be also used as a snapshot camera, great..! Battery lasts for up to 3 days when used sporadically. Fingerprint Reader works nicely. I am happy that I got the Phone :)

Ok so here is the story. The first one arrived and while updating it went into a reboot sequence. The phone got pretty hot and could not be shut down. Had to return it. The second phone did the exact same however my wife put the phone on a cooling block and allowed the battery to run flat. I then found a blog where this is a known issue for the Sony Phones. I sent her the link and it took a day for the PC software to reset the phone. After that it has been perfect and she loves the phone. I think it is overpriced but my wife really wanted this model. Caution to all buyers in software update sequence.

Really good as I am using it outside and in rain and it is a robust smartphone.

This is by far and away the best phone I've ever used including the top-of-the-range models from OnePlus, Samsung and Huawei, all off which I've tried and been variously disappointed with in one way or another.And these are the plusses which when you put them together, distinguish it from the those phones and by which I judge it the best:- * VERY fast* Very bright and clear screen which is also far more informative than most.* Reliable and thoughtfully positioned fingerprint sensor, falling directly under your thumb, which is SO convenient and user friendly. (some phones' placing of their fingerprint sensors is abysmal, such as the Samsung Galaxy S8 for example).Plus it never seems to fail or even falter. Plus it also acts as the power switch, which again is extremely useful.- Has a real solid and chunky feel to it and (aided by its practical and quareish corners (although they could be a BIT more rounded like the Xperia L3) doesn't easily slip out of your hand as do so many phones do these days like the Samsungs.For those who may be interested, I shall be enlarging on this review (including any shortcomings) after a few more months use of it.jrhtowers@gmail.com

Fabulous camera - clumsy phone no good without a wallet case

good:- camera, better than my girlfriend's iphone xs, especially in low light. the slow motion video is amazing.bad:- big bezel- awkward fingerprint sensor placement. although you kinda get used to it after a while. could've put it under the screen, instead there is a big sony logo at the bottom bezel, such a waste of space. come on sony.- glass backside, which is somewhat prone to scratch. it is supposed to be scratch proof. but i've already noticed a small scratch after very careful usesage (with protector on all the time), so wth...

I've been using Sony phones since it was Sony Ericsson. J200 I was my first phone and since then been using Sony as it is a great value for money. Xz2 premium from amazon is a brand new phone and comes with what it says on amazon. Delivery was fast and secure. Box was sealed. Phone is great. Don't just take my words. Phone itself is a great piece of technology. Amazing phone. Amazon is amazing

One of the few 4k hdr screens, also records in 4k hdr. Great price, considering there are only minor changes to the xz3. I've stuck a 256gb card in so I doubt I'll ever need any more storage. I haven't tried to cast a 4k movie yet, but no reason why it won't work.

However, this phone the XZ2 Premium is much better and so far probably the best one yet. It feels nice to hold, with a good weight. The screen size is perfect for watching tv/video - I like the extra width of the 16:9 display. Battery life is very good, gives me 2 days before charging; unless you do something power hungry like filming.Picture quality is the best yet - but pixel count is miss leading, 13M at 16:9. Low light performance is excellent, provided nothing is moving quickly.I'm enjoying it, and at a price 50% less than the latest Xperia 1, its a no-brainer. If you're a Sony fan, you won't be disappointed.

Xperia XZ2 Premium is a fantastic phone, but get the official Sony case, as the cool Gorilla glass design is very slippery. Dual SIM is amazing. You set data, voice, messaging per sim. So you could do Data - SIM1 Voice&Messaging - SIM2 - All working in parallel!This was an upgrade from iPhone X. Fingerprint security is so much better than scanning your face, which never worked as well and not at all in dark conditions or different sunglasses. Sony fingerprint scan works perfectly, provided you get the Sony case. Without it, you will sometimes touch the camera lens just above it. Also love the case as you can set it as a stand and have phone in landscape mode. Great for watching movies, reading Kindle app or just emailing and browsing hands free.Superb value, got it for £399 from Amazon and works 100 percent lag free. Currently have 90 tabs open (it's a bad habit of mine) and all is perfect. Compared to Samsung Notes and Apple phones I've had over the years, this is the best tool phone I've ever had the privilege of owning.

This is the dearest mobile phone I've ever bought, but boy what a mobile. The camera is brilliant 4k viewing outstanding. Not used half the features yet as I use it for making cools etc. and have about 600 songs on it at present and lots of photo's. The whole phone feels like quality it's got 3d and everything on it, movie maker the list is endless. Sound quality is very good not just for music but ring tones and gaming, it's also got a rumble feature for gaming or music that the phone vibrates for different sounds. Excellent
