Disappointed no glass bottles available for my model but at least this avoids the waste from cans and single-use bottles and it is bpa free. The shape isn’t ideal for cleaning but as often our large fizzed soda goes flat before we use it, this way we can have different flavours for 2 people, no waste and use less gas. Hope they redesign to make it more ergonomic.

I was delighted with our new Sparkling Water maker to start with – the water tasted great. But after a few weeks, the water now tastes like flat sparkling water!!! The red light indicating the gas cannister is getting low isn't on, so I can only assume it's faulty. I'm furious that the return window has now closed – to start with I had no reason to return it butnow I do – it's not working!!!

The additional cost of the electric version of this item is difficult to justify. In addition the gas cylinders are far from long lasting and extremely expensive to replace. On balance, with soda water costing £1 for two bottles from Spar I cannot justify the cost of buying, and maintaining this item. Having said that, it does do what is says on the box.

Couldn't buy 1 bottle, so not good value, otherwise a good product

I only had one bottle so it needed planning to have cold fizzy water. Now I have the old one plus two new small ones; so bottles can be left in the fridge. Problem solved

Fine if you use contents quickly but not up to keeping the fizz for long. Prob not intended to.

The product itself is of the same quality as the original bottle supplied with my soda stream. The only down side is that I hadn't noticed before I took them out the packaging that they only have one year life span. (There is a 'Do Not Use After.... date on the bottles) When I checked the original bottle it is good for another 3 years. Will definitely be checking dates in future.

I bought these bottles and they were of a much poorer quality than I expected. One white, one black. There was a fault which deemed the product unusable and a fault which aesthetically made the product look of poor quality. One bottle opening was warped which meant it did not clip into and hold inside the sodastream, therefore unusable and thrown away. A yellow/brown glue was used to attach the bottom of the bottle making the white bottle look dirty and reflect this colour through the water.

These bottles work well with my newly purchased Soda Stream Fizzy Drinks Maker. I use them to make plain soda water which I use to dilute fruit juices. However they would be more useful if they had a slightly larger capacity.
