Phone was fine up until a month ago when the screen came loose and started randomly pressing everywhere on the screen apart from where I needed it to. The phone became unusable. I emailed their customer service dept and waited 5 days for a reply. None was forthcoming. I then accessed their chat line on the huawei uk support site. A rather churlish lady told me that if I damaged he phone hat I’d have to pay for repair even though it is inside its warranty. I knew I hadn’t damaged it so informed her that that would not be an issue. She gave me a customer reference number and told me a Jiffy bag would be with me in 3-5 working days. A week later and still nothing. I again went onto the huawei support site and asked them why I hadn’t received a response to the emails I’d sent or the Jiffy bag. I was told that a multi billion dollar electronics and communication company was having issues with their emails. I find that hard to believe unless they are currently using Gmail. I was apologised to and told that another Jiffy bag will be sent out to me. I said this wasn’t good enough because I need my phone to keep in contact with my wife who currently has some medical issues. They said they can get dpd driver out to me who’ll give me a days notice as to when they will pick it up. I won’t be holding my breath. Customer service has been severely lacking from Huawei. They’re products aren’t much cop either. I’d avoid like the plague... or coronavirus. I was a happy customer up until a month ago but I’ll never be a return customer now.

bought as an upgrade to huawei p8 lite. safe to say I didnt like it, dimensions were horrible in the palm of my hand (too tall), it took an age to turn on just to set the thing up and by that time I was already prepping the box to send it back.dear Huawei take a p8 lite and just put new stuff in it, until then i'll stick with the one i've got its damn near perfect.

Phone was advertised as being unlocked sim free however the phone I received was locked on ee network an it was a contract phone! Beware people!

i have now had two phones and they are both useless for the english power socket so i cannot charge it. although it looks like a plug it is to small to fit into a english 3 pin socket.

This phone was, I thought, fabulous. Fast, great screen, huge internal storage and really narrow bezels making it look like a top end phone (once you've put a case on it to cover the plastic back).However, it comes with Huawei's own build of Android Pie, which is without a doubt its downfall. Whilst the EMUI front end can be replaced quite easily if you don't like it, Huawai's 'improved' battery management is a step too far. It kills off applications almost as soon as you push them to the background by switching to another app, and means that some notifications do not appear. Various forums and reviews will tell you that this can be disabled by changing application management and battery optimisation settings, and these settings are there, but even when you have disabled all of these it still kills off apps quite quickly and randomly. This means if you are writing a message and want to copy a phone number from your contacts, the messaging app will often have been closed down by the OS by the time you've copied the phone number to your clipboard. Very annoying indeed. It even intermittently kills the keyboard off while you are actually using it!!It's such a shame, the phone itself is brilliant, but the battery optimisation the manufacturer has added to Android really affects usability.It was so bad I had to return to phone to Amazon.

I would have given this a 5 star rating but, I am frustrated by the very irritating bloatware, particularly Huawei wallet. I keep getting a page requesting permissions over anything else that I am doing despite the fact that I have force stopped the app in settings. I am unable to find a way to delete the app. It has ruined my experience with this phone and I will never buy another one!
