It's a little smaller than I thought Full size of bread doesn't fit in the machine , but still great toasties
Amazon CustomerUseless! Broke within a week!
K. ScottDo not buy this product. Used twice and on the second time it tripped out electrics. Far too small for standard bread and as you can see from picture the cheese seeped out into the electrics underneath so potentially very dangerous! Am contacting seller and returning it.
JuliaEverything you put in it sticks .... Not worth the money poor ????
AbsI don't think much of the breville it doesn't seal the sandwich and sandwich sticks
chris.pAs described
M BadarIt’s ok if you only want it for a child
SteveNot a bad sandwich toaster. We use thick sliced bread but the breville won't close shut when the bread is in it. Still cooks okay. Easy to clean.
SaraNormal sized bread doesn't fit, so you have to over lap slightly on the other side which then makes the sandwich an odd size Also means you can only make one sandwich at a time. Quite disappointed but didn't pay a lot for it.
ToastyI don't particularly like this thing. The slots are somewhat smaller than a piece of sliced bread and don't quite fit in when trying to close the lid, pushing the top slice over the sandwich. This can create quite a mess. The layout means you get a deep filling but the outside tends to get well toasted before the inside melts fully, which is not ideal of course.
FilipVery poor quality and poorly designed product, you waste a lot of bread trimming it to fit in the tiny space provided, and end up with sandwiches about the size of a digestive biscuit! Avoid.
BillyThis product is very reasonably priced and does make tasty toasties. However, in our house the rule is 'If I make, you wash'. Just make sure you're the one making because this is an absolute nightmare to clean!!! I like my toasties cheesy and it gets EVERYWHERE. Sadly this makes me not want to use it.
fezGreat thing to have as a student who likes to make quick snacks (or anybody else to be honest) Simple to use, clean and store after. CON Really restrictive on type of bread. Will fit small, thin sliced bread a lot easily without fear of breakage.
SacSandwiches unable to have much filling cheese melts everywhere difficult to clean
jeanThe sandwich machine is quick and simple to use, gets hot quite quickly and makes tasty toasties. You only need a small portion of your ingredients otherwise the ingredients will leak out. The disadvantages are the plates are very small and you will need to cut the bread , even the small bread will be too big to fit. Also you will have to cut the sandwich as the machine does not cut it in half properly
PaulineKeeps switching off when cooking
LZGood easy to use and clean toaster. However the plates are very small so you need a small sized slice of bread or end up cutting off most of your normal sized sandwich to make it fit
ClaraBreville is an Australian company that pioneered toasted sandwich makers in the 1970's. The plates on this are very shallow and the result is that the toaster does not seal the sandwiches very well and any filling you put in such as cheese, even in smaller amounts, spills out of the sides and creates a lot of work cleaning up.The Breville deep fill sandwich toaster, or another make of deep fill sandwich toaster seems a much better buy for only a few quid more. The deep fill model will close the sandwiches off nicely avoiding much filling spilling out the sides and the plates on the deep fill can be easily removed and washed in the dishwasher. It seems pointless making this shallow fill version at all as it is just not fit for purpose or functional compared to deepfill models.

I am slightly disappointed with this toaster. I am not able to put thick slices of bread with thick fillings. My fault for thinking it was big enough for that. To get the most out of this, use thin slices. Looks nice, is quick for toasting but i hardly use it now
