Solid. Wipe clean while still warm. 5 minutes to heat up. 5 minutes to cook. Removable plates, but you don't need to if you are careful and clean quickly after use while your toastie is too hot to eat! Well built. This one will last a long time. Delighted.. A bit more expensive than all the others well known brands, but I guess you get what you pay for...

This has had minimal use in the 2 years I’ve had it and the non stick coating has bubbled up and peeled off. Definitely not worth the money.

Does what is says on ticket - lovely deep filled toasted sandwiches. Only one on the market (that I am aware of). Would be good to have more variation on heat settings; Additional plates (have to cook more than two sandwiches for each meal and plates get very sticky on second cooking); Variety of plates ie: panini, waffle, etcEasier/more positive system for inserting/removing plates; Dislike stainless steel finish - soooo difficult to clean (keep clean) stainless steel;Do NOT overfill sandwich and force handle to lock position - handle will crack from pressure;Make sure you use EXTRA THICK bread(difficult to obtain, I know, in this healthy culture) as Medium slice bread melts in the pan
