I had a previous Breville model for 7 years, that had a strong handle. But when making identical toasties in this new model the handle snapped as it is made of cheap plastic after only two uses and without being overfilled.

I'm on my third one sane problem everyone after six months it's stops heating upIt's impossible to actually clean the so called easy clean platesVery very disappointed

It's compact, easy to use, easy to clean and makes excellent toasts divided functionally.

A good deep all round sandwich toaster. Back twenty years ago, it was quite easy to find nice deep filled sandwich toasters.For some reason over then and now, the public or the manufacturer must favour less filling in their toasties.There does however seem to be a revival in the old-style toasters.This one is a particularly good example of deep filled, yet still remaining easy to clean with the green side of a dish sponge.Quick heatup and good steady heat without the dreaded heat spots. A great all-round toaster for desserts and savouries.

I do not recommend as the fuse keeps on blowing and must have an electrical fault. As I purchased from Amazon only 3 weeks ago, I have been trying to get Amazon to help me and to take it back but it is impossible with their lack of customer service.

annoyingly smaller than their older models, if you use cheese be prepared to spend a long time cleaning the thing.

Nice solid easy to use

Massive hit in our house - saves going out for expensive waffles. Already saved the cost of the machine back. Recommend purchase of waffle plates

I bought this toastie machine for the family and as a present. At first the product was great, makes excellent toasties; deep filled too as that's why I had bought it. The plates are easy to remove and clean, and the cord wraps around the back for easy storage. When closing the lid, it does feel like it's going to break as it's quite tough to get it closed with the clip without thinking it's going to break / crack. Well, it did crack. The crack appeared after a couple of weeks. probably about 10 toasties later, and then today 1.5 months after we first started using it; the whole handle came off and that's the end of that! Ah well, we'll just have to use a filled kettle to keep the lid down to toast our toasties until we review more reviews around what's the best toastie machine to buy for £39.99!
