rubbish item doesn't record and cant contact seller. do not buy this camera.
Mr. William J. BrownI bought this due to the very good price (£23) to see if it is any good as an on-bicycle (close pass) recorder and in all honesty it is. It's simple to start & stop the recording with the large single switch, so can either hav a big file or stop and restart at will. The battery life is about 90 minutes but the unit will charge and record at the same time from the USB, so I can use a USB power bank to power it throughout long rides; one drawback is that the access door needs to be open. The mount is huge, so I've taped the camera directly to the bike frame with some dense foam to protect/reduce vibration. After Michael Schumacer, I wouldn't mount to a helmet as this mount isn't going to break off in a crash (that's my personal view/risk profile). Memory use is about 1MB per second, so a 32GB MicroSD card gives about 9-10 hours, so covers a full day

Lee PUpdate - After 11 months, its now stopped working. So losing a star for that. Otherwise good value for money. Used for my commute by bike to work. Good enough video quality and the only camera I have found with dual lenses for front and rear recording. Battery good for hour and a half at least, even after nearly a year.
Original - Great little camera for the price. Haven't used it on a long ride yet so cant comment on battery life but seems ok. Simple to use.

The HowardsVery happy with the quick delivery. Got it very good price 2016. Still works 2020 having used now and then mainly as a helmet camera Go Karting. You can choose how the screen is split on the camera with a slide button (landscape/horizontal split screen). Simple way of creating two views without fancy software or extra cameras. Can go abit dark in places like shadows in a bright environment or artificial light, but that was expected. I’d say it’s reliable used for an hour+ ish. Also worth mentioning that the quality 720p is the two screens together. No screen on camera. Micro SD card slot is protected by a door/ hatch. It did come with its own mounts that were ok. But for use with a helmet I did some top bodging with other mounts.

RichardGreat camera and easy to mount. One possible problem is that you can't separate the split screen recording, at least I can't but there may be software out there!. Not a huge problem unless all you have on the rear facing camera is a long shot of the inside of your elbow!!. Only real problem I had was getting the software from the website. In the end I just removed the memory card and loaded it via a card reader. Quality very good and it is quite an interesting viewpoint, quite good fixed to the passenger footrest of a motorbike .It would have got 5 stars if the software had downloaded easily.
