Good video and sound quality. Easy to use. Small , light and very handy. Not as hard on batteries as other reviews state. Get well over 2hours 1080 48k recording off 2 AA batteries.

Easy to setup and use. Very good quality audio and video. Like the option to power the unit via usb.

No use for windows users. You need a MAC to use the editing facilities. Buy a power adapter as it eats normal batteries.

this puts out excellent video and excellent audio. ive used many such devices before and this is up there with the best of them... I hear the problems people are having with it such as battery life and i absolutely agree... the battery situation is poor. I suggest a couple of workarounds. The first time i saw this camera was when someone was filming one of my gigs with it. He was using an external battery pack to power it so when i bought it a few weeks later after seeing the quality of what he'd filmed i did the same. A little later however i purchased a 5mtr power lead to use with an apple iphone plug... with either or both of these two additions its the perfect gig recorder.

If you want to record live footage, where the audio is essential, for example concerts, speeches, lectures etc., then this is great for those on a budget. Sure, some kind of multi-mic set-up, a sound engineer & a mixing desk is going to get better results, but this device is literally smaller than my phone, half the weight and records really really well. The wide-angle lens is great for capturing a whole band or orchestra. As a working composer I use this for YouTube releases of my works in concert, from huge 100+ member symphony orchestras to individual solo pieces. Excellent product overall - not as good as separate cameras, multi-mics etc, but portable, usable by one person, lightweight, cheap, and certainly good enough.

Buy extra batteries though! It EATS them!

Good product and very good video quality, fantastic in natural light.

I use this for filming gigs and it does a great job. Especially in low light. Would highly recommend!

Very small and a bit fiddly but does record sound and video well. Really goes through batteries quickly though which is frustrating if in the middle of filming a gig

I am thoroughly delighted with this video recorder and it far exceeds any reviews that I have watched or read. I purchased this purely for recording my home keyboard music making and it certainly is a valuable asset to say the least.

Product failed exactly 4 months after purchase. USB port no longer recognised for power or downloads. The metal socket surround of the port protrudes from the camera approx 2mm on removal of the cable and socket no longer functions, so camera is useless. Product always stored in a protective case, handled with care and used infrequently. Any product should last longer that this, very poor quality, very disappointed.

Great audio quality but I’m disappointed by the video quality on the basis of the 1080p setting producing quite pixelated, laggy output probably not even good enough to upload to YouTube as a demo.

Used for recording a choral concert over 2 nights. Lithium batteries last the longest. Not so good with long shots but great for close ups. Sound is excellent

good quality sound, picture is good too - its biggest problem is that it eats batteries.. As someone else has suggested one should get either battery pack or we went for the mains plug. But we think it is good value for money. It was delivered really quickly and well packed

Quite versatile and good quality for the price. You would not use it to film a blockbuster but makes very good band promo videos.Only slight drawback when recording for a long continuous time it saves the video in chunks. They can be spliced together with only the faintest of glitches, but that might not be acceptable for some.

I will mainly use the Zoom for my classical performance recital and concerts (I am an Opera Singer) and I must say when I first tested it - it exceeds my expectations!

Now I will have professional music video recordings for my youtube channel!

Enough of the technical reviews, when a classical musician hear how clean the recording is, then definitely a BIG recommendation from me!
