I bought one of these lens from an Amazon reseller and it never turned up, Amazon refunded me with no problems. I bought a second hand lens from a local shop and this review is for that lens. It is really good. It is lightweight and is reasonably small when zoomed to 50 mm. I have taken some good pictures of butterflies, birds, aeroplanes etc. Because of its size and weight I can carry it around when on holiday. A few years ago the reviews on Utube gave it poor rating, but the more recent reviews praise it as a good lens, and I fully concur.

k4Don't be put off by the price or the fact that it has a plastic mount.Build quality is good and the optics are superb; stop it down a couple of notches and the image is pin sharp, corner to corner.Nor does it suffer from colour fringing . works as well as lenses costing 3 times as much.
