I honestly don't know what the other review of this lens is based on. I have had it for a few days and I can confidently inform anyone it's sharper than £1000 lenses I've used. Also it's built like a tank. I used mine last week to bludgeon a water buffalo unconscious. It's massive too.Focus ring is silky smooth as is the aperture ring. This hasn't come off my camera since it arrived. Totally recommended.
Stuart greenImage quality - acceptable - but only on APS-C camera level. Build Quality - extremely fragile - it's made from very cheap plastic. Both caps are not holding in place. Take a an extra care of the hood. It seems it will broken into your hand when you'll try to set it up on the lens. Slow delivery and no guarantee certificate for UK. Don't forget - it's full manual lens.
