This lens produces sensational results. Was delivered quickly. I actually heard my Z7 make a noise like 'squeee' when I unboxed, and when in the field, if I listen closely enough at the mount they do sound like a pair of lovers coupling, but you do need to listen very closely as the autofocus is nearly silent. Point light sources are rendered magnificently and the colours are insane, any astro work you do will be immediately improved. If you're struggling between this and the 20mm 1.8 S, know that this lens is half a kilo lighter and takes the same size filter as the 24-70 F4 (72mm) these two points were why I chose the 24mm over the 20mm. This lens is truly impressive. I have a number of 24mm primes and this is by far one of the best I have ever used. Very sharp, amazing contrast, lightweight and all round just blew me away. I use this primarily for astro photography and this lens has virtually no coma issues and is perfect for low light/night photography.
