The quality is outstanding. It’s a bit pricey and probably a second hand would’ve been a better option

Christopher HarrisonPerfect lens, great for landscape and wildlife, reasonably compact and lichtweight especially for its range. Exceptionally sharp and it also works well with my 1.4x tele-converter. Highly recommended ... if you can afford it.
TizioThe lens is everything you would expect from a pana/leica, superb smooth operation, feels solid. They did a superb job keeping the size and weight down considering it is a f2.8/f4. short time I have owned it the image quality looks superb helped by the IBIS of the G9, in fact although it is a zoom, image quality is more or less like using a prime lens. Close focus is just right for close in flower and insects.
