This is a nice looking laptop but many a rosey apple had a bad core. when I first opened the box I was so happy it looks cool and has such a wonderful spec. Sadly it gets hot very quickly (93c) playing wow, fans on full whack Yes you can play most games on this laptop but its going to thermal throttle to such an extent its not worth it. Its battery life mean it makes a poor daily driver I've read up and tried most of the cooling solutions I can find with little results. Short of purchasing a walk in freezer (Maybe if Santa is watching) its NOT and game machine.Given the choice I would not pick this laptop again.
Rev JohnMostly great but get a intermittent screen error on battery power.
Amazon Customer-Overall verdict-The laptop is okay. The specification for both the sale and the original price (£899) for the i7/GTX 1060 version is insane, but plagued with hit-and-miss software issues such as blue screens, black screens and flickering, poor battery for even general browsing, and the limitation of a 1 year warranty with no possibility to extend it, leaves this laptop a volatile purchase. I returned my laptop to Amazon after 2 weeks. If you have any questions, right them in the comments of my review and I will try to answer them.-Background-I have been looking at buying a gaming laptop for the past 6 months, and have been looking at this laptop for around a month due to its combined CPU and GPU for its price. I managed to grab one during the sale for the discounted price from £899 to £779.This review is for the i7-8750, GTX 1060, 8GB Ram model, but there will be useful comments in this review that can relate to the other specifications.-Initial thoughts-It is light and thin. The structural materials despite the weight of the laptop being fairly standard. Most 15.6 inch laptops are around the 2.2k weight. Depending on what you are going for, this can be good and bad thing. For me, it does make me feel more conscious about using the device more freely as it feels prone to breaking versus my previous laptop that felt it was built like a tank. The screen specifically on this is /VERY/ prone to flex (bendiness), but the bezels are thin, so it is a trade-off for the price. The real value of the laptop - which is what I was seeking - is its specification. Take the specifications and put them into Google and you will yield some beefy results. Price-to-performance on paper, these laptops whatever the laptop specification you are looking at will be running good for the price they are going for versus their gaming laptop competitions such as HP, Dell, Razer, and ASUS’s gaming brand ROG. You will not find many GTX 1060 laptops - a 6GB version at that, not the underpowered 3GB version - under £1000 on the market, which is wha

Great all-round product with a big flaw that it cannot successfully cool the i7-8750h without throttling. I tested for 3 minutes and the CPU was at 99c. Sending it back i'm afraid.
LORRAINE S.TUF Laptops comes with underpowered 120w power supply. This causes battery to drain while playing games. I bouth the i5 model and I am returning it. Search in Google and will find that this issue is very common and the only potential solution is to buy a 80£ power supply of 180W
Blas GomezIt crashed the very first day and was frozen on few occasions. Hence sent it for returns. Also saw similar reviews
riyazAt the time of writing I have had the laptop almost 2 weeks,Firstly the screen quality and looks laptops are a seller to me its not over the top and the red accents give it a astatic.the keyboard would have probably been better without a number pad, and making a little larger but people who are used to smaller keyboards will fine it a nice typing experience.Speaker sound quality is OK only to be expected as a gaming laptop headphones are best choice anywayNow to the problems, Upon recieving the laptop i recived multiple bluescreen errors due to power and graphics falures, upon trying to update the nvidia graphics drivers it would continue to crash, this was due to the intel graphics drivers been installed as well. after removing the intel drivers the blue screens stoped and nvidia drivers could be updated. this is not acceptable for any novice users that are not used to dealing with these types of problem and should nt be expected in a preconfigured laptop.

Terrible audio quality, hardly run Apex Legends game in low video settings. You will need to upgrade ram to 16gb if you want to improve game playability a little bit.Battery last only 1 hour when playing a game. When doing something else/ other work, it lasts around 2-3 hours.1 positive side is, ultra fast boot/ start up, just only arround 8-9 seconds.
