You get what you pay for. I needed a cheap short term fix. This did it. But, had screen replaced already because the build is flimsy. You take your chances. But again. It was a cheap fix.
Amazon CustomerLarger than I expected. Bit cheap and plastic, but this makes it very light. Fan was noisy to start with, but disabled in BIOS but still comes on when under stress even when surfing a website it kicks in.Starts really quickly. Now that I have had it for a few days I have got used to it’s sounds. It is a pretty good machine and good value for money for an i7. Also bring all plastic makes it light. Battery life seems to be okay.
Amazon CustomerFan has failed and Keyboard has failed twice in 9 months. It has spent more time being repaired than we’ve had it available for use.HP are almost impossible to get hold of so I don’t hold out much hope of any response to a refund request. Avoid HP.
Jody B.Have bought HP laptops before and liked them - spent more on this one. Cheap plastic, cheap clacking keyboard, huge problems with RAM right from the start. Never again
SpartanViewing angle seems a bit critical on the screen so dislike that.
Mr Peter DeeThe hinges that connects the screen to main body were loose on one side. It ended up one day was trying to open the laptop then suddenly the frame of the screen came off the screen and became detached in one side. It is all because of the bad hinges. I sell this is a fault in the manufacturing process of this version of laptop.
I do not recommend anybody to purchase this product untill the issue is solved as it is an expensve not cheap laptop. I used mine only for 9 months and now will start the struggle to buy a new brand one
