Samsung Star 3 - common fault

I was on the point of buying this phone on two separate occasions when I discovered that it has a serious problem: identifying and playing music from a micro SD card. I tried 8Gb and 16Gb cards; one phone kept shutting down, and the other had a time lag of over one minute before displaying music.Check out this problem before buying. I don't know if Samsung are aware of this problem.
