I purchased this to replace a super cheap and very poorly made Lenovo Ideapad, which had come apart and had so many problems with it is just wasn't worth repairing. After doing some research, I decided on this laptop as I already have a Surface Pro which I am very happy with so chose this.It exceeded my expectations with a beautiful aluminium finish, similar to the MacBook Pro and considering the price excellent graphics and I chose the lowest specification. It is a breeze to use and the keyboard is very satisfying. It's definitely worth investing in a good quality laptop like this, rather than going for a cheaper device with the same specs as I know from experience they tend to be cheaply made and have a far inferior battery life (the battery life on my Surface Laptop is pretty good so far).In terms of weight, 1.25kg is great for carrying around or using on the train and the laptop is lovely and thin with a well sized screen (larger than the Surface Pro but less than the MacBook Pro 13" as a comparison).Would recommend to especially to students but perfect for anyone really.
AdamsOnly had this laptop a few days but so far I've been impressed by the build quality of the surface laptop.The speed of the processor is incredible for such a light laptop, everything that I've run on it so far has just been instant in response time.The screen resolution gives a good quality picture.The actual physical aspects of the casing, keyboard and touchpad also are in my opinion better quality then my wife's apple MacBook.
