this camera has a ton of features and has options for everything but it's almost bogged down with options which makes it extremely fiddly to use.

The camera is potentially very good, and would be in effect my ideal one. It's really small, thin and light, so to be easily carried in every pocket. It has an optimal - for me - 28mm lens of exceptional quality, as well as the 16 mp sensor, it's ergonomics is really well designed, and the menu is almost perfect. Customization it's not for everyone, but if you know what to do you can adapt it perfectly to your shooting style. WiFi connection implementation isn't perfect but very useful. Images, finally, are exceptionally good, both JPEGs and (primarily) RAWs.All this would deserve a full 5 stars, but both the items I have received (yes, I had to return it 2 times, with all the inconvenience that this has involved!) had a serious battery problem (and it wasn't battery fault), so that - instead of the approximate 300 shots per charge declared by the manufacturer - I have reached a maximum of 100 with the first and only 60 (!) with the second one.I think I will retry to buy this same camera in the next future hoping to receive an item without this serious issue.

Hey thanks forc readingI want to give this item 5 stars it's a pocket sized camera that has an slr size sensor in it and a 28mm lens that is so sharp it gives my zeiss 24mm £650 emount lens a run for its money.The camera produces great results with really high iq and if you don't need a zoom on your carry everywhere camera then you really can't buy a better one in my opinionI have had so much fun shooting with this little beast it's unreal , I'd always shoot jpeg+raw and in black and white and this would give me a great ricoh style processed jpeg and if I wanted the colour version or a higher quality version for printing I have the raw file toI was getting some great shots and you can customise the hell out of it so you can also use it one handed which is very handy and features like the snap focus and handy macro setting etc just make it a really nice camera to use once you've taken the time to set it up to how you use the cameraI've used a lot of modern cameras and the ricoh is the one that made me smile the most , just having it in a sunglasses pouch and in your pocket at all times and being able to capture them moments you only ever caught on your phone etc but now having a slr size sensor and super sharp 28mm lens right there in your pocket .... dream come true for me right thereOn the flip side the dreaded dust issue is indeed an issue .... I read online reviews. ... I just thought nope that won't happen to me .... I'll have mine in a case and it will be cleaned etc .... I treated this camera like the high end camera it is and always kept it in a case and cleaned it with a soft cloth but what 2500 shots in and 2 months of ownership and boom dust on the sensor ..... I was gutted absolutely gutted that it did happen to me and as I bought it as a travel camera yo document charity work and away for the considerable future it was even more of a nightmareAbout a week after getting dust on the sensor fault 2 popped up and this was a screen that had corrupted, it was now showing weird colours in the shadows and fli
